Faithvonic
Faith Terryson, who is known professionally as Faithvonic, is a Liberian singer and songwriter from Grand Bassa County. She is also a fashion designer, graphic designer, content creator, and video director. Faithvonic derived her stage name from her first name and mother's name, and started writing and recording music in 2012. She signed a record deal with Kimmie Weeks' KLW Entertainment in 2014, but left the label in 2016 after her contract expired. On February 14, 2021, she released her debut extended play, ''Rich with You'', to coincide with Valentine's Day. She has released music to raise awareness about Ebola and COVID-19, and has partnered with ActionAid Liberia on several humanitarian projects. Faithvonic's music is a mixture of Afropop and hipco. Scientific (rapper)
Samuel Sonnyboy Tubman (born March 3), better known by his stage name Scientific, is a rapper and songwriter. He released the Quincy B- assisted single "Shawty" in October 2014. Between 2014 and 2016, he won Best Hip Hop Artist at the Liberian Music Awards. Biography and music career Samuel Sonnyboy Tubman was born in Bong County, Liberia. He grew up in Ghana in a refugee camp due to the first and second civil wars, which lasted from 1989 to 2003 in Liberia. Cheddar signed Scientific to his label Wonda World Entertainment (WWE) in Ghana. In 2011, Scientific performed his hit singles, "I Like You Girl", with top Ghanaian acts such as EL, Sarkodie and Jayso at the American Musician Fabolous Concert in Ghana. Tecumsay Roberts
Tecumsay Roberts ( 19511990) was a Liberian singer and dancer.His name is also sometimes spelled as "Tecumseh". Early life Tecumsay Roberts was born around 1951. Roberts had six siblings, including fellow musician Sandy Roberts. Tecumsay got his start singing in high school in Monrovia. Career In Roberts' early career, he fronted a band named Liberian Dream, and circulated performances between Monrovia, Freetown, and Abidjan. The first album he recorded was entitled ''Gettin' It On''. Roberts also recorded the theme song for the 1979 Organisation of African Unity conference in Monrovia. Roberts had also performed in London with another band he led named Boombaya. Roberts' original style was a fusion of African and Caribbean music, dubbed "Afrolypso". This style was prominent in his single, ''Comin' Home''. Roberts also performed pop music. Bucky Raw
Karwoudou Cole (born April 30), better known by his stage name Bucky Raw, is a Liberian rapper and songwriter from Monrovia. He rose to fame after appearing in a cypher at the 2016 Liberian Entertainment Awards. Raw has released two mixtapes: 2017's ''Country Soda'' and 2018's ''Cs2''. Early Life and Music career Raw was born on April 30, 1984, in Monrovia, Liberia. He moved to the United States when he was 9 years old. Dawn Padmore (born Dawn Mai Padmore, Monrovia, Liberia, February 17, 1967) is a Liberian classical singer primarily known as a recitalist. Padmore has appeared in a variety of concert situations featuring African music, including a performance as part of New York's "African Music Symposium" in 2006 In 2007 she appeared at Washington DC's Kennedy Center while, in April 2008, she sang for Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Desmond Tutu in Minneapolis. Rabbie Nassrallah (born 1979), who is better known as Nasseman, is a Liberian reggae singer, songwriter, and activist. He gained recognition after releasing the 2015 single "Till We Meet Again", which was written to honor his mentor Ras Katata. His music primarily addresses social ills prevalent in Liberian society. Nasseman has written songs for several Liberian artists, and has released the albums ''Till We Meet'' (2008) and ''Redemption Time'' (2012). Irene Logan (born February 16, 1984) is a Liberian-born Ghanaian singer, songwriter, philanthropist and entrepreneur. She was just a child in the early 1990s when her family moved to Ghana in search of refuge from the Liberian civil war. Billema Kwillia, or Belema Kwelea, or Belema Kollia (born c. 1925) is a teacher and composer from Liberia. She composed the hymn "A va de laa" which was translated to English from Loma as "Come, Let Us Eat", and features in several modern hymnals. Biography Kwillia was born circa 1925 in Liberia.C. Franklin Edward Harris, who is known professionally as Kpanto (previously Skinnyboi Kpanto), is a Liberian rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He started his music career in 2014 and gained recognition in 2015 after releasing a cover of Desiigner's single " Panda". His eponymous debut studio album, ''Skinny Boy Kpanto'', was released on August 22, 2020.
