Bucky Raw
Karwoudou Cole (born April 30), better known by his stage name Bucky Raw, is a Liberian rapper and songwriter from Monrovia. He rose to fame after appearing in a cypher at the 2016 Liberian Entertainment Awards. Raw has released two mixtapes: 2017's ''Country Soda'' and 2018's ''Cs2''. Early Life and Music career Raw was born on April 30, 1984, in Monrovia, Liberia. He moved to the United States when he was 9 years old. Raw grew up in a public housing unit in Southwest Philadelphia. He attended Pepper Middle School and John Bartram High School. Raw released his debut mixtape ''Country Soda'' in 2017. It features guest appearances from King Sammy, Drape Lawson, Mz Menneh and Monica Ree. His second mixtape ''CS2'' was released in August 2018. Monrovia () is the capital city of the West African country of Liberia. Jonathan Koffa (born May 14, 1981), known professionally as Takun J (often stylized as Takun-J), is a Liberian rapper, songwriter and activist. He is regarded as one of the pioneers of hipco, a politically-charged music genre. The Liberian Gender Ministry designated him as one of its anti-rape ambassadors. John Bartram High School is a public secondary school serving neighborhoods of the Southwest Philadelphia area of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The school, which serves grades 9 through 12, is a part of the School District of Philadelphia. History On February 5, 1939, John Bartram High School, located at the intersection of 67th Street and Elmwood Avenue in Southwest Philadelphia, opened for the first time to 1,700 students. The school was named after Philadelphian botanist John Bartram. It was built to relieve overcrowding at West Philadelphia High School due to population increases in the southwest part of the city. Southwest Philadelphia (formerly Kingsessing Township) is a section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. The section can be described as extending from the western side of the Schuylkill River to the city line, with the SEPTA. The northern border is defined by the Philadelphia City Planning Commission as east from the city line along Baltimore Avenue moving south along 51st Street to Springfield Ave. It follows the train tracks until 49th Street.
