This is a list of all Krush champions. Included are all champions who have won the title since the brands inauguration in 2009, as a collaboration of K-1 and AJKF. It is the sister brand of K-1. Krush (kickboxing)
Krush is a martial arts entertainment planning and promotion brand established in 2008, currently based in Japan. It is the sister brand of K-1, and has produced numerous future K-1 competitors, such as Takeru Segawa, Tatsuya Tsubakihara and Yuki Egawa. It features events across ten male and three female weight classes. Current Krush champions History Krush was launched in 2008, prior to the death of K-1 FEG, as a collaboration between K-1 and All Japan Kickboxing Federation. It was launched as a feeder organization to K-1, and was accordingly seen as the second tier of K-1 competition. On June 22, 2009, organization representative Toshio Kaneda was arrested, alongside seven other members of the executive committee. Following their arrests, the AJKF was dissolved. The remaining committee and staff members founded "Good Loser", a parent company which continued organizing events under the Krush brand. Ayinta Ali
is a Japanese-Ghanaian kickboxer, currently competing in the welterweight division of K-1 and Krush, where he is the current Krush Welterweight champion. As of March 2022 he was the #8 ranked super featherweight kickboxer in the world by Combat Press. Kickboxing career K-1 Early career Ali made his professional debut against Takuma Shimizu at Krush 104 on August 31, 2019. He won the fight by a third-round knockout. The bout was stopped on the advice of the ringside physician at the 1:04 minute mark, due to a cut above Shimizu's left eyelid. Ali made his second Krush appearance at Krush 107 on November 8, 2019, against Mark Bird James. He won the fight by a third-round knockout, flooring James with a right hook. Shuji Kawarada
Shuji Kawarada (瓦田 脩二, born 18 April 1994) is a Japanese kickboxer, currently competing in the lightweight division of K-1. A professional competitor since 2017, he is the former Krush Lightweight champion, having held the title from 2021 to 2022. He was ranked as a top ten super bantamweight kickboxer by Combat Press between August 2021 and March 2022, as well as between May and June 2022. Kickboxing career Early career Kawarada made his professional debut against Koji Suzuki at Krush 80 on September 8, 2017. He won the fight by a first-round stoppage, knocking out Suzuki with a right straight at the 2:25 minute mark. Kawarada was scheduled to face Takahito Oki at Krush 82 on November 5, 2017. Fumiya Osawa
Fumiya Osawa (born 11 September 1991) is a Japanese kickboxer, currently fighting in the lightweight division of K-1 and Krush, where he is the incumbent Krush Lightweight champion. Osawa is the 2018 K-1 Lightweight Grand Prix finalist. Kickboxing career Super Featherweight career 2012 Krush Contender Tournament On April 22, 2012, Osawa fought in the quarterfinals of the Krush Super Featherweight tournament, being scheduled to fight Yuya Yamato. He won the fight by unanimous decision, and further beat Makoto Morishige by a first-round TKO in the semifinals. These two wins set up the fight with Katsuya Goto, the other tournament finalist, Krush 19. Kongnapa Weerasakreck
Kongnapa (or Gonnapar) Weerasakreck is a Thai Muay Thai fighter and kickboxer. He is the former K-1 Lightweight champion and former Krush Lightweight champion. After having over a hundred fights in Thailand, Gonnapar moved to Japan in 2010. As of May 2020, he is the #2 ranked super bantamweight in the world, according to Combat Press. Kickboxing career Gonnapar made his kickboxing debut against Hideaki Yamazaki in September 2016, a fight which he won by unanimous decision. Before that, he fought in muay thai, winning the WMPF World Super Lightweight title and successfully defending it twice. Gonnapar participated in the 2017 K-1 Lightweight Grand Prix. Ren Hiramoto (born 27 June 1998; ) is a Japanese people, Japanese mixed martial artist and former kickboxer, currently fighting in the featherweight division of Rizin Fighting Federation, Rizin FF. Tetsuya Yamato
is a Japanese Lightweight kickboxer. He won the Japanese national K-1 tournament as a Lightweight in 2010. Background Yamato was born in Chita, Aichi, Japan on December 10, 1987 as Tetsuya Iwashita. He took the name Yamato in honour of his gym, Yamato Kickboxing Gym. After graduating from high school he started working in construction, and became a painter to coat buildings with coloured acrylic resin. Kickboxing career Early career On July 31, 2005, he made his debut as a professional kickboxer in the R.I.S.E. organization, and he knocked out ''Eiji Ogawa'' in the 1st round with left low kick. Koya Urabe
is a Japanese kickboxer, fighting out of Tokyo, Japan. He is the inaugural and former two time K-1 World GP 2016 -60kg World Tournament Champion. As of December 2020, he is the #10 ranked Super Bantamweight according to Combat Press, first entering the rankings in September 2020. He was ranked in the bantamweight top ten by Combat Press between April 2018 and August 2020. His older brother Hirotaka Urabe is also a professional kickboxer, they fought against each other twice. Ryuji Kajiwara (born 9 December 1976) is a Japanese former professional kickboxer and boxer. He is the head trainer of K-1 Gym Headquarters Team Pegasus and member of the K-1 Japan Group executive committee. In 2012 he was ranked #7 lightweight in the world by Liverkick.
