Beaumont Hannant
Beaumont Hannant (born c. 1970) is a British musician, producer and DJ from York, England. His work includes ambient techno, IDM, hip hop and indie rock. Hannant has received positive critical reviews, and he was named one of "The Faces of '94" by music magazine '' Select''. Biography Hannant became a hip-hop/ electro DJ in 1986, after witnessing the 1986 World Mixing Championships. During 1993–1994, he released several solo albums on General Production Recordings rooted in ambient techno. His music from this period has been described as eclectic, densely layered and textured. Hannant's album ''Texturology'' (1994) resulted in a top three independent album chart placing. Music from the album was used in a theatre presentation of the 17th-century play ''The Traitor''. Burial (musician)
William Emmanuel Bevan, known by his recording alias Burial, is a British electronic musician from South London. Initially remaining anonymous, Burial became the first artist signed to Kode9's electronic label Hyperdub in 2005. He won acclaim the following year for his self-titled debut album, an influential release in the UK's dubstep scene which showcased a dark, emotive take on UK rave music styles such as UK garage and 2-step; it was named the album of the year by ''The Wire''. Burial's second album, '' Untrue'', was released to further critical acclaim in 2007. In 2008, Bevan's identity was revealed by ''The Independent'' and confirmed by Hyperdub. Brothomstates
Brothomstates is one of the stage names of Lassi Nikko, a Finnish composer and musician. He also used to produce music in the demoscene under the moniker of Dune in the demogroup Orange. His works are mostly downtempo or ambient, but he is also known for his complex and abstract melodies and unique sounding drum programming. His 1998 debut album ''kobn-tich-ey'' was amongst the first mp3-only LPs released. In the media The track "Adozenaday" from the ''Qtio'' single featured on a TV advertising campaign in the UK by the soft drinks manufacturer Sprite. Boom Bip
Bryan Charles Hollon (born June 22, 1974), better known by his stage name Boom Bip, is an American record producer and musician. He is one half of Neon Neon along with Gruff Rhys. He is based in Los Angeles, California. Biography Boom Bip started his career as a DJ while attending college in his hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio. In 1998, he released a collaborative EP with DJ Osiris, titled ''The Low End Sequence EP'', on Mush Records. In 2000, he released a collaborative album with Doseone, titled ''Circle'', on Mush Records. Boom Bip's debut solo studio album, ''Seed to Sun'', was released on Lex Records in 2002. It featured guest appearances from Buck 65 and Doseone. Bogdan Raczynski
Bogdan Raczynski (born 1977) is a Polish-American electronic musician. Associated with the intelligent dance music (IDM) movement, Raczynski's work draws inspiration from the chaotic breakbeats of jungle and hardcore rave as well as traditional Polish music and other sources. Raczynski's early recordings were created using music tracker programs such as Impulse Tracker, and he participated with tracker-focused netlabels such as the Kosmic Free Music Foundation. Raczynski's post-netlabel albums were released on Rephlex Records until its closure in 2014. Rephlex founder Richard D. James cited Raczynski as an inspiration for tracks on his album drukQs. Patrick Driscoll (born June 28, 1987), known professionally as Blank Banshee, is a Canadian artist, musician and producer from Saint John, New Brunswick. He rose to popularity in 2012 with his album ''Blank Banshee 0'', which combined traditional elements of vaporwave with trap music, a style now known as vaportrap. Blanck Mass is a British electronic solo project by Ivor Novello Award-winning composer Benjamin J Power. He is a founding member of Fuck Buttons. In 2022 Power announced he joined Editors as a full-time member. Career His track "Sundowner" was used at key points during the Opening Ceremony of the 2012 Olympic games. It was first heard as the Union Flag was brought into the stadium by members of the Armed Forces. Later it was played when the Olympic Flag was paraded, and finally as the Olympic Flame was brought to the stadium in a speedboat. The Black Dog is a British electronic music group, founded in 1989 by Ken Downie along with Ed Handley and Andy Turner. The group are considered pioneering figures of techno's ruminative "home-listening" aesthetic in the early 1990s. Following several self-released EPs, the group signed to Warp Records in 1993 and released albums such as ''Bytes'' (1993) and '' Spanners'' (1995).
