This list is of the Monuments of Japan, Historic Sites of Japan located within the Prefectures of Japan, Prefecture of Kagoshima Prefecture, Kagoshima. National Historic Sites As of 28 December 2022, thirty-four Sites have been Cultural Properties of Japan, designated as being of national Values (heritage), significance. Prefectural Historic Sites As of 1 May 2022, fifty-two Sites have been designated as being of prefectural importance. Municipal Historic Sites As of 1 May 2022, a further six hundred and seventy-six Sites have been designated as being of municipal importance. Kimotsuki, Kagoshima
is a town in Kimotsuki District. It is located in the eastern part of the Ōsumi Peninsula in Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan. The town was formed on July 1, 2005 from the merger of the towns of Kōyama and Uchinoura, both from Kimotsuki District. As of October 2019, the town has an estimated population of 15,169. Minamitane, Kagoshima
is a town located on Tanegashima, in Kumage District, Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan. As of June 2013, the town has an estimated population of 5,925 and a population density of 53.8 persons per km².
