This is a list of highest points in the U.S. state of Arizona, in alphabetical order by county. Elevations are from USGS 1:24,000 scale topographic quadrangle maps. Elevations followed by a plus sign (+) are minimal values. The contour interval is shown after the (+). Robert Walko listed the Arizona county high points and then hiked them in 1977. Arizona ( ; nv, Hoozdo Hahoodzo ; ood, Alĭ ṣonak ) is a state in the Southwestern United States. It is the 6th largest and the 14th most populous of the 50 states. Mohave County is in the northwestern corner of the U.S. state of Arizona. As of the 2020 census, its population was 213,267. The county seat is Kingman, and the largest city is Lake Havasu City. It is the fifth largest county in the United States (by area). Kofa Mountains
The Kofa Mountains ( Yavapai: Wi:kasayeo) of Yuma and La Paz counties in Arizona is the central mountain range of the Kofa National Wildlife Refuge. The range lies about 60 miles northeast of Yuma in the southwestern part of the state. Kofa Wilderness takes up 547,719 acres of the refuge, making it the second largest wilderness area in Arizona. The equally extensive Castle Dome Mountains comprise the southern refuge border; the western end of the Tank Mountains are in the southeast of the wildlife refuge, and the New Water Wilderness in the New Water Mountains ends the extension of the Kofa National Wildlife Refuge to the north. Scenic "King Valley" is south of the Kofa Mountains between the Castle Dome Mountains. Mount Union (Arizona)
Mount Union is a mountain located in the Prescott National Forest in central Yavapai County, Arizona. The mountain's summit is the highest point of the Bradshaw Mountains, and of Yavapai County. Mount Union is flanked to the northeast by Mount Davis. A lookout tower built by the CCC is on top of Mount Union, and exceeds 8,000 foot elevation. A service road for the communication towers allows easy access to the summit of Mount Union. However, the road goes through private property and is closed to motorized vehicles. Mount Wrightson
Mount Wrightson (O'odham: Ce:wi Duag) is a peak in the Santa Rita Mountains within the Coronado National Forest, in southern Arizona, United States. It was named for William Wrightson, a miner and entrepreneur in the region killed by Apaches in the 1865 Battle of Fort Buchanan. Geography Mount Wrightson is the highest point in the Santa Rita Mountains and the Tucson region, lying southeast of the city. Its distinctive pyramid-shaped profile is visible from much of southeastern Arizona and adjoining areas in Sonora, Mexico. The mountain is known for the views from its barren peak, nearly feet above Tucson. Mount Lemmon
Mount Lemmon, with a summit elevation of , is the highest point in the Santa Catalina Mountains. It is located in the Coronado National Forest north of Tucson, Arizona, United States. Mount Lemmon was named for botanist Sara Plummer Lemmon, who trekked to the top of the mountain with her husband and E. O. Stratton, a local rancher, by horse and foot in 1881. Mount Lemmon is also known as Babad Do'ag, or Frog Mountain to the Tohono O'odham.
