He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe (2002 TV Series)
''He-Man and the Masters of the Universe'' is an American animated television series. Developed for television by Michael Halperin, who created the original series, it is produced by Mike Young Productions. It served as an update of the 1980s Filmation series, produced to coincide with Mattel's revival of the Masters of the Universe franchise eleven years after its previous attempt. The series ran on Cartoon Network's Toonami programming block between August 16, 2002, and January 10, 2004. Unlike the previous ''He-Man'' series, set on the futuristic planet of Primus, this version sought to return to the roots of the storyline and provide broader explorations never reached in the first series, including origins for each character, and some first-time animated debuts of familiar toyline faces. The series also brought back several writers from the original series, such as Larry DiTillio. Also, it's the second and final ''He-Man'' series to feature a Canadian voice cast with ...

Teela
Teela is a fictional superheroine from the ''Masters of the Universe'' franchise. She is the Captain of the Royal Guard at the palace of Eternos and thus responsible for training and protecting Prince Adam of Eternia. While Adam is He-Man, Teela often assists him in his battles, but she is unaware of his alternate identity. Teela is one of the first characters developed for ''Masters of the Universe'', although her figure was released in the second half of the first wave. Writer Donald F. Glut named her after Gunga Ram's elephant from the ''Andy's Gang'' television show. Origin She is the daughter of Man at Arms and the Sorceress of Power. Appearances in media In comics Minicomic series Teela is presented in the earliest media as a heroic "warrior goddess," a capable female fighter—one imbued with the spirits of great warriors of the past—who roams the deserted landscapes of Eternia atop a unicorn. Hordak
Hordak is a fictional character in the ''Masters of the Universe'' franchise who opposes She-Ra and He-Man, as well as the franchise's main villain, Skeletor, to whom he was once a mentor, and the cause of the latter's ambition and pursuits of evil. Hordak is the main antagonist of the '' She-Ra: Princess of Power'' animated series, in which he is the archenemy of She-Ra, He-Man's twin sister. In this series, he rules the planet of Etheria with an army of Horde Troopers, most of whom wear a red bat symbol on their chests to convey their allegiance. According to most story media, Skeletor betrayed Hordak and trapped him in "another dimension" before beginning his own conquest of the planet Eternia. Hordak, not to be outdone, then returned with a vengeance to take over Eternia for himself. Hordak is recognizable by his white (sometimes cream/bone colored) face, with sharp red eyes, his flat snout-like nose, red fangs, and pointed bat-like ears. He wears a collar of bones and black ...

Stinkor
Stinkor is a fictional character, a villain from ''He-Man and the Masters of the Universe''. Labeled the "Evil Master of Odors," Stinkor is essentially a humanoid skunk whose superpower is the ability to release a toxic odor from his body that renders foes immobile. Conception 1985 Stinkor was first introduced in 1985 as an action figure from the ''He-Man and the Masters of the Universe'' toyline and came packaged with a mini-comic entitled ''The Stench of Evil!''. The Stinkor action figure had a semi-foul scent, giving it the distinction of being one of the few toys whose "action feature" was an odor. The Stinkor action figure was created by Mattel by re-using the mold of another villain in the Masters of the Universe line Mer-Man. The only differences between the Mer-Man and Stinkor action figures were that Stinkor was painted black and white, had different chest armor and was chemically treated with patchouli oil to smell musky. Stinkor was presented to Lou Scheimer and other s ...

Clawful
Clawful is a fictional supervillain in the Masters of the Universe toy line and the accompanying cartoon series ''He-Man and the Masters of the Universe''. He is a member of the Evil Warriors. He appears to be a hybrid between a man and a crab or lobster, with large, sharp claws that can crush the life out of his opponents. In most media, his right claw is extra large and thus achieves an extra-deadly grip. Character history 1980s Clawful was introduced into the Masters of the Universe toy line in 1984 as part of the third wave of figures. He uses the standard Evil Warrior "Skeletor" body, with a new head and right arm sculpt (with spring-loaded claw). His left arm uses the same mold as Buzz-Off, released in the same wave. He carries a bright green version of the mace (bludgeon), mace weapon originally included in the Castle Grayskull playset, with an additional 'handle' allowing him to carry it in his left claw. There are two versions of the Clawful figure. One uses the "bump ...

Zodac
Zodac () is a fictional character, a cosmic superheroic entity in the Masters of the Universe mythology. The spelling varies between Zodac and Zodak in different sources (until the two were later defined as separate characters). In a unique curiosity of the Masters of the Universe franchise, portrayals of Zodac vary considerably from medium to medium since the franchise began in the 1980s, leaving many confused over the character. The fact that in the original line and accompanying animated series's run, the character was very seldom used, added to the mystery surrounding him even further. The general representation of Zodac is that he is a neutral character, a cosmic enforcer who participates little in conflict but can aid either the heroic or evil sides in their hour of need. However, the original 8-back release of the figure has his title as "Cosmic Enforcer", and in later re-release it was changed to "Evil Cosmic Enforcer", and this representation filtered through to a fe ...

Kobra Khan
Kobra Khan is a fictional character in the Masters of the Universe franchise. He is a member of the Evil Warriors, and a cross between a man and a cobra, who has the power to spray a "sleep mist" from his hood which immediately renders his opponent unconscious (in some later incarnations he instead sprays poisonous venom). Although generally recognized as a member of Skeletor's Evil Warriors, in many media he serves a dual allegiance to both Skeletor and the later introduced King Hiss of the Snake Men. Character history Original figure Kobra Khan was introduced into the Masters of the Universe toy line in 1984, as part of the line's third wave of figures. The figure's special feature is to spray water. The figure's head is removable and the hollow torso can be filled with water, so that when the head is back in place, it can be pushed down to spray water from its mouth. The figure came with an orange version of the laser pistol that first came with the Zodac figure. The fig ...
