Professional Wrestling Promotion
A professional wrestling promotion is a company or business that regularly performs shows involving professional wrestling that has little relationship to the rules of the amateur olympic form. "Promotion" also describes a role which entails management, advertising and logistics of running a wrestling event (''see promoter''). Within the convention of the show, the company is a sports governing body which sanctions wrestling matches and gives authority to the championships and is responsible for maintaining the divisions and their rankings. In truth, the company serves as a touring theatre troupe, as well as event promotion body for its own events. The most prominent promotions in the United States are World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), All Elite Wrestling (AEW), Impact Wrestling, Ring of Honor (ROH), Major League Wrestling (MLW), and the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA). Pentagón Jr
Pentagón is a lucha libre, or professional wrestling, persona also referred to as a gimmick that has been portrayed by a number of different people over the years. The gimmick was created as an Evil twin of professional wrestler Octagón and is always a ''rudo'', or heel character (a character portraying the "bad guy" in wrestling.) The gimmick was created by AAA owner Antonio Peña in 1995, giving AAA the rights to the name "Pentagón", which meant that when wrestlers who played Pentagón left AAA they had to modify the name such as "Pentagón Black". There have been at least three distinctive versions of Pentagón Following the introduction of the Pentagón persona Peña also introduced Pentagoncito, a ''Mini-Estrellas'' of Pentagón to act as the protagonist against the ''Mini-Estrella'' Octagoncito. Sammy Guevara
Samuel George Guevara (born July 28, 1993) is an American professional wrestler signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he is a member of the Jericho Appreciation Society. He is a record tying three-time former AEW TNT Champion. He also appears in AEW's Mexico based partner promotion Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA), where is currently in a former AAA Mixed Tag Team Champion with real life wife Tay Melo. During a previous stint with AAA, he held the AAA Cruiserweight Championship. Guevara made his professional wrestling debut in 2010 - after being trained by Booker T - beginning his career in Booker's Reality of Wrestling promotion. Ricky Mandel
Richard Mathey (born June 27, 1987) is an American professional wrestler who currently competes on the independent circuit and also wrestles for Lucha Underground and Championship Wrestling from Hollywood. Professional wrestling career Lucha Underground (2014–2019) Mathey debuted on Lucha Underground in a dark match on October 15, 2014 in a losing effort to Hernandez as a jobber. He would however, qualify for the Aztec Warfare match for the Lucha Underground Championship, but was unsuccessful. During the first two seasons of Lucha Underground, Mandel also wrestled under a mask as Trece, one-third of the Disciples of Death Trios team, along with Barrio Negro, and Sinestro de la Muerte, though Mandel was not acknowledged to be the man under the mask. Ian Richard Hodgkinson (born May 31, 1967), better known by his ring name Vampiro, is a Canadian semi-retired professional wrestler who most recently served as director of talent for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA). He also worked for Lucha Underground as a color commentator. Hodgkinson is also member of the citizen crime patrol organization Guardian Angels, acting as head of the group's chapter in Mexico City. Shaul Marie Guerrero (born October 14, 1990) is an American professional wrestler, ring announcer and burlesque performer. She is best known for her time with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), where she performed under the ring name Raquel Diaz. She is also a burlesque dancer under the stage name Miss Nyxon. In October 2010, Guerrero signed a developmental contract with WWE, and was assigned to Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW), WWE's developmental territory. Mascarita Dorada (Spanish: ''Little Golden Mask''; born February 19, 1982), is the ring name of a Mexican ''Luchador enmascarado'', or masked professional wrestler, who works in the ''Mini-Estrella'' division, comparable to midget wrestling. He is also known for his tenure with WWE under the ring name El Torito (Spanish for ''The Little Bull''). Miguel Ángel Olivo Castro (born June 19, 1988), better known by the ring name Daga, is a Mexican professional wrestler. He is a former AAA Latin American Champion and AAA World Cruiserweight Champion. He has also worked for Lucha Underground and Impact Wrestling.
