Finland ( fi, Suomi ; sv, Finland ), officially the Republic of Finland (; ), is a Nordic country in Northern Europe. It shares land borders with Sweden to the northwest, Norway to the north, and Russia to the east, with the Gulf of Bothnia to the west and the Gulf of Finland across Estonia to the south. Joona Jasper Pääkkönen (; born 15 July 1980) is a Finnish film actor and entrepreneur. Following a two-decade-plus career in Finnish movies, Pääkkönen's international breakthrough role came in 2015 in the historical drama television series ''Vikings'' (2016–2018; 2020) as Halfdan the Black. His next roles were in Spike Lee's comedy-drama film ''BlacKkKlansman'' (2018) and in the war drama film ''Da 5 Bloods'' (2020). It tells the story of an attack planned by Serb terrorists on the Presidential Palace during the reception of Independence Day. The film was originally to be directed by Antti J. Jokinen but having fallen ill, Jokinen was replaced by Louhimies. The film stars Jasper Pääkkönen as the main character Max Tanner, an agent representing SUPO in the European Joint Police Operations. Pääru Oja (born 16 May 1989) is an Estonian stage, film, voice, and television actor. Early life and education Pääru Oja was born in Tallinn, the youngest of two sons. His father is actor Tõnu Oja and his older brother is Estonian Theatre Festival CEO and theatre manager Kaarel Oja, who is married to actress Ursula Ratasepp. His uncle is actor, director and theatre instructor Rein Oja.
