Hobart
Hobart ( ; Nuennonne/Palawa kani: ''nipaluna'') is the capital and most populous city of the Australian island state of Tasmania. Home to almost half of all Tasmanians, it is the least-populated Australian state capital city, and second-smallest if territories are taken into account, before Darwin, Northern Territory. Hobart is located in Tasmania's south-east on the estuary of the River Derwent, making it the most southern of Australia's capital cities. Its skyline is dominated by the kunanyi/Mount Wellington, and its harbour forms the second-deepest natural port in the world, with much of the city's waterfront consisting of reclaimed land. Sport in Tasmania is participation in and attendance at organised sports events in the state of Tasmania in Australia. According to the 2020 Sports Australia AusPlay survey results 88.3% of Tasmanian adults and 69.5% of Tasmanian children participate in some form of sport or physical activity at least once per year, which is -1.1% and -3.6% respectively below the national average. The most popular sports by participation in Tasmania (excluding general recreational activities such as walking or attending a gym) as of 30 December 2020 are Swimming, Running/Athletics, Football/Soccer, Australian Rules Football, Cricket, Golf, and Basketball. The most popular team sport for female participation is Netball, and for male participation is Cricket. Southern Roots Festival
Southern Roots was an annual music festival in Australia, held in Hobart, Tasmania. Similar to the Big Day Out, it is common that the well-known headlining acts will play on the outdoor "Main Stage" which overlooks the venue, and the lesser known (and often local) acts will perform on the indoor "Pavilion Stage". The stages are within a short walking distance of each another. Multiple Sclerosis
Multiple (cerebral) sclerosis (MS), also known as encephalomyelitis disseminata or disseminated sclerosis, is the most common demyelinating disease, in which the insulating covers of nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord are damaged. This damage disrupts the ability of parts of the nervous system to transmit signals, resulting in a range of signs and symptoms, including physical, mental, and sometimes psychiatric problems. Specific symptoms can include double vision, blindness in one eye, muscle weakness, and trouble with sensation or coordination. MS takes several forms, with new symptoms either occurring in isolated attacks (relapsing forms) or building up over time (progressive forms). MS Fest
MS Fest was a music festival, held annually in Launceston, Tasmania Australia since 2006 until 2011 when the MS Society unsuccessfully attempted to establish a new event under the brand. Hobart, Tasmania. It was a single day event, held in February or March on a Saturday. The festival started in 2006 with a concert at Launceston's Regatta Ground to mark the 50th anniversary of the MS Society. The event sold out, and quickly became known as one of Tasmania's premier music events. In 2007 the event operation and funding was taken over by Launceston-based events company Opcon and relocated to Inveresk Showground to accommodate a larger crowd. There was a main stage, featuring mostly rock and hip hop, and a secondary stage, the Ministry of Sound arena, which featured DJ and electronic music throughout the day. Gone South

Huon Show
The Huon Show or Huon Agricultural Show is an annual agricultural show running from 1947 to 2019 & since 2022, located at Ranelagh Showgrounds in Ranelagh in the Huon Valley, Tasmania, Australia. It attracts around 13,000 visitors yearly, featuring a range of attractions including a large local produce section, exhibition livestock including a large Alpaca section, flower competitions, and over 102 stalls by local businesses. It is held on the second Saturday of every November, though it used to be held on 8 December, which was for some time a bank holiday for residents of the Huon Valley. Marion Bay, Tasmania
Marion Bay is a rural / residential locality in the local government area (LGA) of Sorell in the South-east LGA region of Tasmania. The locality is about east of the town of Sorell. The 2016 census recorded a population of 72 for the state suburb of Marion Bay. Marion Bay is also a large bay on the south-east coast of Tasmania. Its south-western shore is contained by the Marion Bay Important Bird Area. History Marion Bay is a confirmed locality. Falls Festival
Falls Music & Arts Festival (commonly known as Falls) is a multi-day music festival held annually in Lorne (Victoria), Marion Bay (Tasmania), Byron Bay (New South Wales) and Fremantle (Western Australia), Australia over the New Year's Eve and January period. The festival hosts contemporary music performances, dance, comedy, theatre, circus, cabaret, and other art forms. Camping is available and all locations have nearby beaches which are either walking distance or a short bus ride away. Salamanca, Tasmania
Salamanca Place is a precinct of Hobart, the capital city of the Australian state of Tasmania. Salamanca Place itself consists of rows of sandstone buildings, formerly warehouses for the port of Hobart Town that have since been converted into restaurants, galleries, craft shops and offices. It was named after the victory in 1812 of the Duke of Wellington in the Battle of Salamanca in the Spanish province of Salamanca. It was previously called "The Cottage Green".
