All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Jacksonville, Florida, and is considered the second largest wrestling promotion in the United States behind WWE. Title reigns are either determined by Professional wrestling match types, professional wrestling matches or are awarded to a wrestler as a result of the culmination of various scripted storylines. There are currently nine total championships in AEW, with five singles championships, one traditional tag team championship, and one six-man tag team championship for male wrestlers, and two singles championships for female wrestlers. Ladder Match
A ladder match is a type of match in professional wrestling, most commonly one in which an item (usually a title belt) is hung above the ring, and the winner is the contestant who climbs a ladder and retrieves the item. The ladder itself becomes a key feature of the match, as wrestlers will use the ladder as a weapon to strike the opponent(s), as a launching pad for acrobatic attacks, and frequently these matches include impressive falls from the top of the ladder. is a Japanese professional wrestler currently signed to both All Elite Wrestling (AEW) in the United States and DDT Pro-Wrestling (DDT) in Japan. AEW Continental Championship
The AEW Continental Championship is a men's professional wrestling championship created and promoted by the American promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Established on November 18, 2023, the title has a special attribute in that it is defended under Continental Rules in which no one is allowed at ringside and outside interference is strictly prohibited. The current champion is Kazuchika Okada, who is in his first reign. He won the title by defeating Eddie Kingston on the March 20, 2024, episode of ''Dynamite''. The title is also the prize of the annual Continental Classic (C2), a tournament held at year's end that culminates at the Worlds End pay-per-view event in December. AEW International Championship
The AEW International Championship is a professional wrestling championship created and promoted by the American promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW). It is a secondary championship for male wrestlers, and unlike AEW's other titles, which are almost exclusively defended on AEW programming, the International Championship can also be defended in other promotions around the world. The current and inaugural champion is Orange Cassidy, who is in his first reign. The title is considered the successor to the AEW All-Atlantic Championship, which had been established on June 8, 2022, and its inaugural champion was Pac. The AEW TNT Championship is a men’s professional wrestling television championship created and promoted by the American promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Established on March 30, 2020, it is named after the TNT television network, which currently airs AEW's secondary core program, '' Rampage'', as well as the promotion's ''Battle of the Belts'' quarterly television specials.
