Darryll Suliaman Amoako (born 22 January 1988), better known by his stage name Suli Breaks, is an English spoken word poet. He is best known for his spoken word videos on his YouTube Channel, Suli Breaks. He is best known for his 2012 video " Why I Hate School but Love Education" and his 2013 video " I Will Not Let an Exam Result Decide My Fate". Early life Amoako was born in Wood Green, London, England. He grew up as one of three children to Ghanaian parents in what he describes as "a conventional African family, where education is paramount". He has two sisters, Anisah (younger) and Cherelle (older). He went to Enfield Grammar School for a year before accepting a scholarship to play basketball in Middlesbrough. ''Qurbanī'' ( ar, قربانى), ''Qurban'', or ''uḍḥiyah'' () as referred to in Islamic law, is a ritual animal sacrifice of a livestock animal during Eid al-Adha. The concept and definition of the word is derived from the Qur'an, the sacred scripture of Muslims, and is the analog of korban in Judaism and kourbania in Christianity. Eid al-Adha () is the second and the larger of the two main holidays celebrated in Islam (the other being Eid al-Fitr). It honours the willingness of Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son Ismail (Ishmael) as an act of obedience to Allah's command. Before Ibrahim could sacrifice his son, however, Allah provided him with a lamb which he was supposed to kill in his son's place because of his willingness to sacrifice his own son in the name of God. In commemoration of this intervention, animals are ritually sacrificed.
