''Chengdu, I Love You'' (; translit. Chengdu, Wo Ai Ni) is a Chinese film directed by Cui Jian and Fruit Chan, and released in October 2009. Runtime is 78 minutes with languages in Mandarin and English. Venice release ''Chengdu, I Love You'' had its world premiere screening in the Sala Grande at the Palazzo del Cinema on Saturday September 12, at 9:00 pm, after the awards ceremony. The 66th edition of the Venice International Film Festival was held at the Venice Lido from 2 to 12 September 2009. However, only two of the planned three segments were screened. Director Hur Jin-ho's segment set in present-day 2008 was not included, as it was developed into a stand-alone feature film titled '' A Good Rain Knows''. Ning Hao
Ning Hao (; born 9 September 1977) is a Chinese film director. Ning studied at the Taiyuan Film School, where he majored in scenic design. He later transferred to the Art Department of Peking University. Ning eventually graduated from the Beijing Film Academy in 2003 with a degree from the Photography Department. Yan Ni (actress)
Yan Ni (; born 10 March 1971 in Xi'an, Shaanxi), born Yan Kaiyan (), is a Chinese film and television actress. She works for the Television Art center of the People's Liberation Army Air Force. Li ranked 54th on ''Forbes'' China Celebrity 100 list in 2015. Biography Yan Ni was born in Xi'an, Shaanxi. Yan's parents are ordinary workers, and all her family still live in Xi'an. After high school, she enrolled at a financial college to study accounting. Two years later she succeeded in gaining admission to an art organization of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) in Lanzhou, and then went on to enroll at the PLA's Art School in Beijing. Huang Bo (; born August 26, 1974) is a Chinese actor, film director, singer and the current vice-chairman of China Film Association. He is the winner of multiple Chinese film awards, and ranked 34th on Forbes China Celebrity 100 list in 2013, 62nd in 2014, 22nd in 2015, 30th in 2017, 2nd in 2019, 52nd in 2020. Early life Huang Bo was born on August 26, 1974 in Jiuquan, Gansu, and raised in Qingdao, Shandong, although his hail originally from Lintao County, Gansu. ''Cow'' () is a 2009 Chinese film directed by Guan Hu. A black comedy, ''Cow'' takes place during the midst of the Second Sino-Japanese War. A villager, played by Huang Bo, has been entrusted to care for a Dutch cow when a Japanese attack leaves him and the cow the only survivors. The film premiered at the 66th Venice International Film Festival as part of its "Horizons" program. Plot The film takes its story from oral traditions of Shandong. A bumbling villager, Niu'er (Huang Bo), is charged with caring for a Dutch cow, considered an object of awe to the village given its larger size and ability to produce large amounts of milk, they forced Niu'er to take care of the cow, when the village head and members of 8th Route Army members that holds out the village before retreating. When the village is bombed by the Japanese, Niu'er flees from his home, only to return to devastation and a mass grave, containing all villagers killed by a Japanese unit, including Niu'er's love, Jiu. Lu Chuan (born 8 February 1971) is a Chinese filmmaker, screenwriter and producer. He is the son of novelist Lu Tianming ().
