Chachapoyas, Peru
Chachapoyas () is a city in northern Peru at an elevation of 2,335 meters (7,661 ft). The city has a population of 32,026 people (2017). Huánuco (; qu, Wanuku) is a city in central Peru. It had a population of 196,627 as of 2017 and in 2015 it had a population of 175,068. The Cathedral of the Lord of Burgos ( es, Catedral del Señor de Burgos) Also Huánuco Cathedral is the name of a religious building affiliated to the Catholic Church located in the city of Huánuco, Peru. The temple follows the Roman or Latin rite and is the mother church of the Diocese of Huánuco ('' Dioecesis Huanucensis '') which was created in 1865 by the bull ''Singulari animi Nostri'' of Pope Pius IX. The original building was built in 1618. In 1965 it was demolished. The new cathedral was built by the German architect Kuno. It is under the pastoral responsibility of Bishop Neri Menor Vargas. This cathedral, known initially as Matriz Cathedral, was built on land donated by remarkable neighbors. Its construction began on March 18, 1799 ending March 18, 1831. Huancavelica () or Wankawillka in Quechua is a city in Peru. It is the capital of the department of Huancavelica and according to the 2017 census had a population of 49,570 people. The city was established on August 5, 1572 by the Viceroy of Peru Francisco de Toledo. Indigenous peoples represent a major percentage of the population.
