Frýdlant
Frýdlant (; also known as Frýdlant v Čechách, german: Friedland in Böhmen) is a town in Liberec District in the Liberec Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 7,400 inhabitants. The town centre is well preserved and is protected by law as an urban monument zone. Administrative parts Villages of Albrechtice u Frýdlantu and Větrov are administrative parts of Frýdlant. Geography Frýdlant is located about northwest of Liberec, in a salient region of Frýdlant Hook, close to the border with Poland. It lies mostly in the Frýdlant Hills. Hrubá Skála (german: Groß Skal) is a municipality and village in Semily District in the Liberec Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 600 inhabitants. Administrative parts Villages and hamlets of Bohuslav, Borek, Doubravice, Hnanice, Krčkovice, Rokytnice and Želejov are administrative parts of Hrubá Skála. Houska Castle
Houska Castle is an early Gothic castle in the municipality of Blatce in the Liberec Region of the Czech Republic. It lies about north of Prague. It is one of the best preserved castles of the period. Some notable features of the castle include a predominantly Gothic chapel, green chamber with late-Gothic paintings, and a knight's drawing room. Horní Police (german: Oberpolitz) is a municipality and village in Česká Lípa District in the Liberec Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 700 inhabitants. Horní Libchava (german: Oberliebich) is a municipality and village in Česká Lípa District in the Liberec Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 800 inhabitants. History The village in the castle grounds of Klinštejn Castle was probably founded by Záviš from Stružnice, son of Častolov Jr. from Zittau. Horní Branná (german: Brennei) is a municipality and village in Semily District in the Liberec Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,900 inhabitants.
