In the time '' Big Brother'' ran from 2000 to 2018, there were a total of 327 civilian, 10 '' Panto'', 8 ''teen'', 12 '' Celebrity Hijack'' and 14 '' ultimate'' housemates; 151 men and 170 women. Craig Phillips
Craig Phillips (born 16 October 1971) is an English television personality and builder. He is known for winning the first series of '' Big Brother'' in 2000. He is trained as a bricklayer, and has appeared in numerous television series related to building since winning ''Big Brother''. Early life The younger of two children and born in Liverpool, his family moved to Newport, Shropshire in the late 1980s. At 18, Phillips secured a day release bricklayers apprenticeship whilst employed with Wrekin Council's construction department. He also attended further night school classes in advanced brickwork and civil engineering. Having qualified with a City & Guilds, Phillips went on to set up his own building company. ''Big Brother 2006'', also known as ''Big Brother 7'', was the seventh series of the British reality television series '' Big Brother''. The show followed a total of twenty-two contestants, known as housemates, who were isolated from the outside world for an extended period of time in a custom built house. Each week, one or more of the housemates were eliminated from the competition and left the House. Brian Patrick Robert Dowling (born 13 June 1978) is an Irish television presenter. He rose to fame after winning the second series of reality series '' Big Brother'', and went on to win ''Ultimate Big Brother'' in 2010. In 2007, he came third in ''Hell's Kitchen'' and in 2008, he was runner-up in the Irish reality television series '' Fáilte Towers''.
