List Of Bemani Musicians
In the Bemani series of rhythm video games by Konami, it appears that seemingly hundreds of different musicians and groups perform the songs. However, in reality there exists only a core group of a few dozen Konami artists, performing under pseudonyms and forming new groups. All names are in Western order (family name last). This list does not include artists whose songs have been licensed by Konami, primarily through the Dancemania division of Toshiba-EMI. List Of Bemani Series
, stylized as BEMANI, is Konami's music video game division. Originally named the Games & Music Division (G.M.D.), it changed its name in honor of its first and most successful game, ''Beatmania'', and expanded into other music-based games, most notably rhythm games such as ''Dance Dance Revolution'', ''Guitar Freaks'', and ''Drum Mania''. Bemani games Since 1997, Konami has released many different series of music games under the Bemani brand. Each series has a unique way of playing the game and detaches players from the typical hand held controller of modern game systems by using their whole body to control the game. Ryutaro Nakahara
, better known by his stage name Ryu, is a Japanese record producer, DJ, musician and arranger. In 2000, Ryu, along with kors k won a contest started by Konami, in which composers were to make music such that the winners would get their songs in the next Beatmania IIDX installment. Ryu's entry "Starmine" and kors k's "Clione" won the contest and both songs were featured in Beatmania IIDX 4th Style. Ryu returned in Beatmania IIDX 9th Style with a remix of Dj taka's "Abyss", and composed more songs in 10th style onwards. Since then, Ryu has become a mainstay composer for Konami's Bemani series as well as a freelance musician. Ryu has become a part of beatnation records, which compose of Kors K, DJ Taka, L.E.D., Sōta Fujimori and DJ Yoshitaka. Vermilion Bird
The Vermilion Bird ( zh, c=朱雀, p=Zhūquè) is one of the Four Symbols of the Chinese constellations. According to Wu Xing, the Taoist five elemental system, it represents the Fire element, the direction south, and the season summer correspondingly. Thus it is sometimes called the Vermilion Bird of the South ( Chinese: , ). It is described as a red bird that resembles a pheasant with a five-colored plumage and is perpetually covered in flames. It is known as Suzaku in Japanese, Jujak in Korean and Chu Tước in Vietnamese. It is often mistaken for the Fenghuang due to similarities in appearance, but the two are different creatures. Yoshitaka Nishimura
Yoshitaka Nishimura (西村宜隆) (born February 9, 1979, Kyushu), better known as DJ Yoshitaka, is a composer for Konami's line of Bemani games. He has been making solo songs since the release of Beatmania IIDX 11: IIDX Red, though he has had previous Bemani involvement as a member of Osamu Migitera's Des-ROW group. He often composes for the Beatmania IIDX and the Pop'n music series, and then began composing for the Guitar Freaks & DrumMania and the Dance Dance Revolution series in 2005 and 2007, respectively. DJ Yoshitaka still often works with Des-ROW for some Pop'n music songs. In the Reflec Beat series, DJ Yoshitaka regularly appears alongside fellow composer Sota Fujimori as a double act, Venus. is a Japanese composer who has contributed to the ''Bemani'' series of music video games. He has produced songs for ''Beatmania'', ''Beatmania IIDX'', ''Pop'n Music'', ''Dance Maniax'', ''Guitar Freaks'', ''DrumMania'', '' Mambo a Gogo'', and ''Dance Dance Revolution'' (''Dancing Stage''). He collaborated with the Shibuya-Kei vocalist "EeL" to provide original songs for BEMANI under her "EeL" pseudonym. Tommie Sunshine
Tommie Sunshine (born Thomas Lorello; March 26, 1971) is a record producer, remixer, DJ and songwriter of electronic music from Chicago currently living in Brooklyn, New York. He is known for creating dance remixes to popular rock and alternative songs. Biography Early life Lorello grew up in Naperville, Illinois. During the 1980s he became interested in DJ mixes he heard on the radio and began attending house-music clubs in the city such as Medusa's. In the early '90s, he traveled to New York City to attend the last "Storm Rave" being thrown by DJ Frankie Bones, which lead to him performing as a popular DJ at raves throughout the Midwest. Takanori Nishikawa
is a Japanese musician, singer, songwriter, record producer, actor, voice artist, radio personality, and businessman. He performs under the stage name T.M.Revolution (TMR), which stands for , stemming from the famous '80s pop electronic band TM Network. Despite most of his songs being written by Akio Inoue and composed/arranged by Daisuke Asakura (also TMR's former producer), T.M.Revolution is considered Nishikawa's solo project. Seiji Koga
is a former Japanese football player. His brother Masahiro Koga is also former footballer. Playing career Koga was born in Okawa on August 7, 1979. After graduating from high school, he joined the J1 League club Yokohama Marinos (later ''Yokohama F. Marinos'') in 1998. Although, he played several matches as an offensive midfielder every season, he did not play in many matches. In 2002, he moved to the J2 League club Avispa Fukuoka based in his local area. He played many matches as left offensive midfielder and the club was promoted to J1 in 2006. However the club was relegated to J2 in a year and his opportunity to play decreased in 2007.
