Alina Ibragimova
Alina Rinatovna Ibragimova (russian: link=no, Али́на Рина́товна Ибраги́мова; ba, Алина Ринат ҡыҙы Ибраһимова born 28 September 1985) is a Russian-British violinist. Early life and education Ibragimova was born in Polevskoy, Russian SSR, to a Bashkir family. Her family was musical, and she began playing the violin at the age of 4. At 5 she started at the Gnessin School of Music in Moscow, studying under Valentina Korolkova, and by the age of 6 had started her career by playing with various orchestras, including the Bolshoi Theatre Orchestra. She was aged 10 in 1996 when her father, Rinat Ibragimov, took up the post of principal double bass with the London Symphony Orchestra, and the family moved to England. He held the European super-lightweight title from 2011 to 2013, and has challenged three times for the IBF lightweight title. Zeki Velidi Togan ( ba, Әхмәтзәки Әхмәтшаһ улы Вәлиди, Äxmätzäki Äxmätşah ulı Wälidi; russian: Ахмет-Заки Ахметшахович Валидов, tr, Ahmet Zeki Velidi Togan; 1890 – 1970 in Istanbul), was a Bashkir historian, Turkologist, and leader of the Bashkir revolutionary and liberation movement. Biography He was born in Kuzyanovo ( Bashkir: Көҙән) village of Sterlitamaksky Uyezd, Ufa Governorate (in present-day Ishimbaysky District, Bashkortostan). From 1912 to 1915 Velidi taught in the madrasa in Kazan (Qasímiä), and from 1915 to 1917, he was a member of bureau, supporting Muslim deputies at the State Duma. In 1917, he was elected to the Millät Mäclese, and with Şerif Manatov, he organized the Bashkir Shuro (Council). Zaynulla Rasulev (''Zaynulla bin Khabibulla bin Rasūl''; ba, Зәйнулла Рәсүлев, russian: Зайнулла́ Расу́лев, 25 March 1833 – 2 February 1917) was a Bashkir religious leader in the 19th and early 20th century. He is notable as one of the most important representatives of Jadidism and the organizer of one of the first Jadidi madrasah.
