Bridget Brind is a British civil servant and diplomat, currently serving as List of ambassadors of the United Kingdom to Jordan, Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Jordan. Peter Millett (diplomat)
Peter Joseph Millett (born 23 January 1955) is a British diplomat who was ambassador to Libya 2015–2018. Early life Peter Millett attended the independent school St. Joseph’s College in Ipswich. Career Peter Millett joined the Foreign Office in 1974 and had early postings in Quito and Caracas. In 1980 he studied Arabic and then worked in Doha. On return to London he bridged to the Fast Stream and worked in the Private Office of the Foreign Office Minister in the House of Lords. He then worked at the UK Representation to the European Union specialising in energy and nuclear issues. Back in London, he worked on personnel policy followed by 4 years as Deputy Head of Mission in Athens. On return to London, he worked as Director for Security. James Wilfrid Watt CVO (born 5 November 1951) is a British former diplomat who was ambassador to Lebanon, Jordan and Egypt. Career James Wilfrid Watt was educated at Ampleforth College and The Queen's College, Oxford. Edward Graham Mellish Chaplin (born 21 February 1951) is a British diplomat, notable for serving as British ambassador in occupied Iraq from April 2004. Sir Anthony Reeve, (20 October 1938 – 6 November 2014) was a British diplomat and ambassador. Life and career Anthony Reeve was born on 20 October 1938 in Yorkshire, the son of Dorothy () and Sidney Reeve, a lay Methodist preacher. Sir Arthur John Coles (born 13 November 1937) is a retired British diplomat. He served as the Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs (Head of HM Diplomatic Service) from 1994 to 1997.
