The Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Croatia is the United Kingdom's foremost diplomatic representative in the Republic of Croatia, and head of the UK's diplomatic mission in Zagreb. Andrew Dalgleish (diplomat)
Andrew Dalgleish (born 17 December 1975) is a British diplomat who has been the acting High Commissioner to Pakistan since January 2023. Between 2016 and 2022, he was the British ambassador to Croatia. Early life Dalgleish studied European Law at the University of Warwick, graduating with first class honours. He also spent a year at Montesquieu University in Bordeaux, studying French law. Career Dalgleish joined the Department of Social Security in 1998. He went on to join the Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and the United Kingdom Representation to the European Union, where he worked until 2008. He served as the deputy head of mission at the British Embassy Seoul from 2011 to 2015. He became the Ambassador to Croatia in July 2016. Ian Cameron Cliff (born 11 September 1952) is a British diplomat who has been Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Sudan, the OSCE and Kosovo, as well as Chargé d'Affaires in Croatia. Career Ian Cliff is the son of Gerald Shaw Cliff, who was Resident Engineer Trinity House 1925–65. Cliff was educated at Hampton Grammar School and Magdalen College, Oxford where he gained a degree in Modern History. David Arthur Slinn (born 16 April 1959 in Northampton, England) is a retired British diplomat. He was Chargé d'Affaires to Albania in 1995 to 1996.
