List Of Airlines Of Indonesia
This is a list of airlines which have an Air Operator Certificate issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of Indonesia. There are two types of AOC in Indonesia, AOC 121 and AOC 135. AOC 121 is for commercial scheduled airlines with more than 30 passengers. AOC 135 is for commercial scheduled airlines with 30 or less passengers and chartered airlines. There are 22 AOC 121 holders and 32 AOC 135 holders. By 12 January 2012 all Indonesian scheduled airlines have to operate with at least ten aircraft, and a minimum of five aircraft should be owned. The Ministry of Transport has the right to withdraw their operating certificate in case they do not comply with this regulation (Law Number 1, 2009 about air transport). The application of the regulation was postponed for one year, while in the postponed time the airlines should give a business plan and a contract letter for the leasing aircraft for at least one year ahead. PT ASI Pudjiastuti Aviation, operating as Susi Air, is a scheduled and charter airline based in Pangandaran, West Java, Indonesia. Sixty percent of the airline's operation serves commercial regular routes and pioneer routes while the rest is charter flights. The company currently operates from several main bases across the Indonesian archipelago. Susi Air is listed in category 2 by Indonesian Civil Aviation Authority for airline safety quality. Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport ( id, Bandar Udara Internasional Halim Perdanakusuma) is an international airport in Jakarta, Indonesia. The airport is located in East Jakarta and the airfield is conjoined with the Halim Perdanakusuma air force base of the Indonesian Air Force. Aside from commercial scheduled flights, this airport is also used for military, private and presidential purposes. Syamsudin Noor International Airport (Indonesian: ''Bandar Udara Internasional Syamsudin Noor'') is an international airport serving Banjarmasin in South Kalimantan of Indonesia. It is located in the district of Landasan Ulin, 5 kilometres west of Banjarbaru, capital of South Kalimantan and about 25 km south-east from the centre of the city of Banjarmasin, the largest city of South Kalimantan. Call Sign
In broadcasting and radio communications, a call sign (also known as a call name or call letters—and historically as a call signal—or abbreviated as a call) is a unique identifier for a transmitter station. A call sign can be formally assigned by a government agency, informally adopted by individuals or organizations, or even cryptographically encoded to disguise a station's identity. The use of call signs as unique identifiers dates to the landline railroad telegraph system. Because there was only one telegraph line linking all railroad stations, there needed to be a way to address each one when sending a telegram. In order to save time, two-letter identifiers were adopted for this purpose.
