Lisa Vaelen
Lisa Vaelen (born 10 August 2004) is a Belgian artistic gymnast who represented Belgium at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Junior career 2016-2017 At the 2016 Belgian Championships, Vaelen swept the gold medals on every event and in the all-around in the Junior A-12 Division. She then made her international debut at the 2016 Gymnova Cup and won the gold medal in the all-around in the Espoir division. At the 2017 WOGA Classic, Vaelen finished sixth in the all-around and placed eighth with the Belgian team. She then competed at the Belgian Championships and won the bronze medal in the all-around. Then at the 2017 Gymnova Cup, she won the silver medal in the all-around and on vault and balance beam, and she won the bronze medal on the floor exercise. Zsófia Kovács (; born 6 April 2000) is a Hungarian artistic gymnast who competed at the 2016 and 2020 Olympic Games. She is the 2017 and 2023 European all-around silver medalist, the 2020 European champion on uneven bars, as well as the 2020 and 2022 European champion on vault. Early life Kovács was born on 6 April 2000 in Dunaújváros. She started gymnastics at the age of six. Gymnastics At The 2020 Summer Olympics – Women's Artistic Team All-around
The women's artistic team all-around event at the 2020 Summer Olympics was held on 25 and 27 July 2021 at the Ariake Gymnastics Centre. There were 12 teams of 4 gymnasts each. The competition was won by the Russian athletes competing as the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC), the 2016 silver medalists, when they competed as Russia. It was the first women's team all-around title for the Russian team since 1992, when it competed as the Unified Team. They led throughout the competition despite two falls on balance beam in the third rotation. The United States, the two-time defending champions and 2019 world champions, were second. Notably, top American gymnast Simone Biles withdrew from competing following the first rotation due to health concerns, and the three remaining American athletes had to alter their planned lineups and routines. Jutta Verkest (born 11 October 2005) is a Belgian artistic gymnast. She represented Belgium at the 2020 Summer Olympics and was the youngest gymnast at the 2020 Olympic Games. Maellyse Brassart (born 22 June 2001) is a Belgian artistic gymnast. She represented Belgium at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She also competed at the World Championships in 2017, 2018, and 2019.
