Lisa Theresa Hauser
Lisa Theresa Hauser (born 16 December 1993) is an Austrian biathlete. She competed at the Biathlon World Championships 2013, and at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, in sprint, pursuit and individual. She reached her first individual podium in the 2020–21 season in the Stage 5 sprint competition in Oberhof, finishing 3rd, and won the women’s Mass Start at the Biathlon World Championships 2021. The Biathlon World Championships 2020 took place in Rasen-Antholz, Italy, from 12 to 23 February 2020. Host selection On 4 September 2016, Antholz-Anterselva won the voting (30 votes) during the twelfth IBU Congress in Chișinău over Pokljuka (15 votes) and Oberhof, Germany (four votes). The Biathlon World Championships 2019 took place in Östersund, Sweden, from 6 to 17 March 2019. There were a total of 12 competitions: sprint, pursuit, individual, mass start, and relay races for men and women, and two mixed relay races. The single mixed relay was on the program of the World Championships for the first time. All the events during this championships also counted for the 2018–19 Biathlon World Cup season. The 48th Biathlon World Championships was held in Oslo, Norway from 3 to 13 March 2016. There were 11 competitions in total: sprint, pursuit, individual, mass start, relay races for men and women, and mixed relay. The women's 10 km pursuit biathlon competition of the Sochi 2014 Olympics was held at Laura Biathlon & Ski Complex on 11 February 2014. In the pursuit competition, the competitors start times were determined according to the results of the Women's sprint held two days earlier, with the sprint champion Anastasiya Kuzmina starting first. None of the sprint medalists won a medal in the pursuit. Instead, Darya Domracheva of Belarus became the champion, with Tora Berger of Norway winning the silver medal, and Teja Gregorin of Slovenian winning the bronze. The Women's 7.5 km sprint biathlon competition of the 2014 Winter Olympics, Sochi 2014 Olympics took place at Laura Biathlon & Ski Complex on 9 February 2014.
