Lisa Marie Forbes (born May 5, 1981) is an American television personality and beauty queen who competed in the Miss USA pageant in 2004 and Miss Earth 2007. Biography Pageants Forbes was crowned Miss Kansas USA 2004 on November 30, 2003, in Wichita, Kansas. She competed in the pageant for five consecutive years, winning the interview award three times. She was a semi-finalist in 2003 and 2002, third runner-up in 2001 and a non-finalist in 2000. She then represented the "Sunflower State" at the Miss USA 2004 pageant in Los Angeles, California on April 12, 2004, televised live on NBC. Her successor as Miss Kansas USA was Rachel Saunders. On August 1, 2007 Forbes won the United States Miss Earth title and represented the United States at the Miss Earth 2007 pageant, the third consecutive former Miss USA State titleholder to do so. Miss USA 2004
Miss USA 2004 was the 53rd Miss USA pageant, held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California on April 12, 2004. The winner of the beauty pageant was Shandi Finnessey, who became the first winner from the state of Missouri. Finnessey was crowned by outgoing Miss USA Susie Castillo, of Massachusetts. The pageant was hosted by Billy Bush and Nancy O'Dell, the first time this partnership had hosted the pageant. Bush had previously hosted Miss USA 2003 and Miss Universe 2003. For the first time since 1970, fifteen semi-finalists competed in the final competition, although not all the semi-finalists competed in both the swimsuit and evening gown. Following the new format established at Miss Universe 2003 and Miss Teen USA 2003, the top fifteen semi-finalists were reduced to ten after the evening gown competition, and then to the final five after swimsuits. Miss Earth United States
Miss Earth USA (formerly Miss Earth United States) is an annual beauty pageant which selects the United States representative to Miss Earth which is an annual international beauty pageant promoting environmental awareness. The current titleholder is Natalia Salmon from Pennsylvania. Salmon was crowned Miss Earth USA 2022 on January 8, 2022 by the reigning Miss Earth USA, Marisa Butler of Maine during the competition that was held at the Orange County Convention Center's Linda Chapin Theater in Orlando, Florida. Miss Missouri USA
The Miss Missouri USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state Missouri in the Miss USA pageant. It is directed by Vanbros and Associates, based in Lenexa, Kansas. In 1993, Missouri joined the Vanbros group of state pageants for the Miss USA and Teen USA system. Missouri has had only one Miss USA, Shandi Finnessey, who placed as 1st runner-up to Jennifer Hawkins of Australia in the Miss Universe 2004 pageant. Ashley Renee Litton is a beauty queen from Missouri who held the Miss Missouri USA title in 2004. Miss Kansas Teen USA Litton grew up in Olathe, Kansas and started competing in pageants in that state. She went unplaced in the Miss Kansas Teen USA 2001 pageant and was a semi-finalist in 2002.
