Liposcelis Bostrychophila
''Liposcelis bostrychophila'' is a species of Psocoptera, booklouse in the family Liposcelididae. It is known nearly worldwide as a common pest of stored products. It is especially prevalent in cereals. In 2019 it was identified as a predator of mosquito eggs in a Food and Agriculture Organization, FAO/International Atomic Energy Agency, IAEA Insect Pest Control Laboratory which developed Mosquito control#Nuclear sterile insect technique, sterile males. This insect is about a millimetre long, brown in color, and wingless. Females of this species often undergo parthenogenesis and populations consist almost entirely of females. A male specimen was not noted until 2002 and a few years later, another sexually-reproducing strain was found. ''Liposcelis'' is a genus of insects in the order Psocoptera, the booklice and barklice. There are about 126 species. Many species are associated with human habitation and several are well known as pests of stored products. The genus is distributed nearly worldwide. These booklice attack grain stores, particularly if grain is slightly damp, damp or moldy. They are unable to survive long term in locations where relative humidity is below 60% because their body eventually dries out. The Eulophidae are a large family of hymenopteran insects, with over 4,300 described species in some 300 genera. The family includes the genus ''Elasmus'', which used to be treated as a separate family, "Elasmidae", and is now treated as a subfamily of Eulophidae.
