Oslo

2010 European Women's Handball Championship
The 2010 European Women's Handball Championship was held in Denmark and Norway from 7–19 December. It was the first European Championship hosted by two countries. Norway won their overall 5th gold medal, when they defeated first time finalist Sweden in the final. Romania claimed the bronze medal. Venues Three Danish and two Norwegian cities have been selected to host the 2010 Championship. The venues in Aalborg, Aarhus and Larvik were only used during the preliminary round. The fourth venue to be used in this round is located in Lillehammer, and was also one of the two venues in the main round. The 2012–13 EHF Women's Champions League was the 20th edition of the EHF Women's Champions League, the competition for top women's clubs of Europe, organized and supervised by the European Handball Federation. Budućnost Podgorica was title holder, after beating Győri Audi ETO KC in past season's final. Győri redeemed themselves by winning this season's edition. They defeated Larvik HK 47–43 in the final. 2020–21 Women's EHF Champions League
The 2020–21 Women's EHF Champions League was the 28th edition of Europe's premier club handball tournament, running from 12 September 2020 to 30 May 2021. There was no defending champion, after the season before was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Vipers Kristiansand defeated Brest Bretagne Handball to win their first title. Because of this pandemic, each local health department allowed a different number of spectators. Format The competition began with a group stage featuring 16 teams divided in two groups. Matches were played in a double round-robin system with home-and-away fixtures. In Groups A and B, originally the top two teams would have qualified for the quarterfinals, with teams ranked third to sixth entering the playoffs. After a decision by the EHF, all teams advanced. The Women's EHF Champions League is the competition for the top women's handball clubs in Europe, organised annually by the European Handball Federation (EHF). It is the most prestigious tournament for clubs, with the champions of Europe's top national leagues participating. World Women's Handball Championship
The IHF Women's Handball World Championship has been organized by the International Handball Federation since 1957. European teams have won every time except 1995 where South Korea won as the first team outside Europe and 2013 where Brazil won as the first American team. The biggest winners are Russia and Norway with four titles each. Nine teams participated in the first championship, this number has grown in steps to 32 (from 2021). In 1977 a B-tournament was introduced and later in 1986 a C-tournament which served as qualification for the real championship or A-tournament. Linn-Kristin Riegelhuth
Linn-Kristin Riegelhuth Koren (born 1 August 1984) is a retired Norwegian handball player for the Norwegian national team, who last played for Larvik HK. She is commonly known as Linka. Outside handball she is a qualified nurse. Career Club career Riegelhuth started playing handball at her hometown club Ski. She later played for Holmlia and Furuset until Larvik HK showed an interest for her. She was only 17 when she signed with Larvik for the 2002/03 season. Riegelhuth was top scorer in the Norwegian league in the 2005/06 season (shared first place with Linn Jørum Sulland, both 159 goals). In 2006/07 she was again top scorer (221 goals), and was voted ''Player of the year'' in the Norwegian league. She won the Cup Winners' Cup in 2008 with Larvik.
