Lillis is an Unincorporated area, unincorporated community in Marshall County, Kansas, United States. History Lillis was named for Rev. T. F. Lillis. A post office was opened in Lillis in 1910, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1958. The Lillis Gymnasium is on the National Register of Historic Places. The Geographic Names Information System (GNIS) is a database of name and locative information about more than two million physical and cultural features throughout the United States and its territories, Antarctica, and the associated states of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, and Palau.
