The Lighthouse of Ponta Negra ( pt, Farolim da Ponta Negra) is a beacon/lighthouse located along the cliffs of promontory of Ponta Negra, in the Concelho, municipality of Vila do Corvo, on the Portugal, Portuguese island of Corvo (Azores), Corvo, in the archipelago of the Azores. History The small lighthouse was constructed in November 1910, with a sixth order diotropic light, providing a fixed white light, that ranged to , supported by acetylene gas. Concelho () is the Portuguese-language term for municipality, referring to the territorial subdivision in local government. In comparison, the word ''município'' () refers to the organs of State.
