Line 2 is an east–west line in the Shanghai Metro network. With a length of nearly , it is the second longest line in the metro system after line 11. Line 2 runs from in the west to in the east, passing Hongqiao Airport, the Huangpu river, and the Lujiazui Financial District in Pudong. With a daily ridership of almost 1.5 million, it is the Shanghai Metro's busiest metro line. Line 7 (Guangzhou Metro)
Line 7 of the Guangzhou Metro is a rapid transit line in Guangzhou and Foshan, Guangdong Province, China. It is envisioned as tangential line that runs across southeast Guangzhou and Foshan, allowing for orbital traffic between the suburbs of Shunde, Panyu and Huangpu to avoid the crowded stations in the city center. South Island Line
The South Island line, identified by light green on the MTR route map, is a rapid transit line of Hong Kong's MTR metro system. This line connects the HK business district from Admiralty station to the Southern District of Hong Kong Island and the island of Ap Lei Chau, which was not served by any rail transport prior to the opening of this line. The rolling stock of South Island line is purpose-built for driverless operation. Trains are remotely controlled from the Operations Control Centre in Tsing Yi. Approved by the Executive Council in 2007, the line commenced service on 28 December 2016. The Line 4 of Wuhan Metro () is the third line in Wuhan Metro system, and it will be the second metro line crossing the Yangtze river in Wuhan. It is colored grass-green, which is the identifying color of this line, which would appear on its trains, station signs, and the official subway map. The whole construction was divided into two parts, being phase 1 and 2, which opened in 2013 and 2014, respectively. Phase 1, opened on December 28, 2013, runs through Wuchang in a northeast-southwest direction, connecting , and major commercial districts. Phase 2 will run in an east-west direction, linking Hanyang and Wuchang, tunneling through the Yangtze river in the proximity of the first Yangtze river bridge and connecting with phase 1 at Wuchang railway station. Line 6 is one of the sixteen lines of the Paris Métro rapid transit system. Following a semi-circular route around the southern half of the city above boulevards formed by the former wall of the 'Fermiers généraux' built between 1784 and 1791, it runs between Charles de Gaulle – Étoile in the west and Nation in the east. Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya Line
The Lyublinsko–Dmitrovskaya line (russian: Любли́нско-Дми́тровская ли́ния, ) (Line 10) is a line of the Moscow Metro. It was known as "Lyublinskaya line" () before 2007. First opened in 1995 as a semi-chordial radius it is at present in process of being extended through the centre and northwards. At present the line has 34 kilometres of track and 23 stations. Barcelona Metro line 11 is a light metro line with short trains in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Line 11, coloured light green and currently known as Trinitat Nova – Can Cuiàs, is a recently built line in the Barcelona Metro network, operated by TMB, and part of the ATM fare-integrated transport network in the Barcelona. Wilmington/Newark Line
The Wilmington/Newark Line is a route of the SEPTA Regional Rail commuter rail system in the Philadelphia area. The line serves southeastern Pennsylvania and northern Delaware, with stations in Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania, Wilmington, Delaware, and Newark, Delaware. It is the longest of the 13 SEPTA Regional Rail lines. Route The Wilmington/Newark Line runs on Amtrak's Northeast Corridor, making local stops along the way. Only weekday peak trains run to Newark. One morning train to Newark runs as an express service from University City to Chester before turning into a local serving Marcus Hook and the Delaware stations. R Line (RTD)
The R Line or Aurora Line/I-225 Rail is a Regional Transportation District (RTD) light rail line that serves stations in Aurora, Denver, Greenwood Village, Centennial and Lone Tree. Opening on February 24, 2017, the line was designated as the “R” line, reflecting the letter R’s in “Aurora” and “Ridgegate”. The line travels over newer and older portions of the RTD Light Rail system. The R Line was preceded by the G Line, which operated from 2006 to 2009 along the southern half of the route. The R Line is the only line in the RTD rail system not serving downtown Denver.
