Background and release "Worthy" was one of the first songs that Holo wrote with ''Album1'' in mind. The lyrics of the song were inspired by a conversation he had with his ex-girlfriend. The artist said that, after a long process, he had finally found a way to incorporate his guitar playing style into his electronic music. "Lift Me from the Ground" started out as a "little melody", also on guitar. He stated that, at the time he wrote the melody, he knew it would be "the heart of the song". Sander van Dijck (born 26 November 1990), better known by his stage name San Holo, is a Dutch DJ, musician, and record producer from Zoetermeer. He gained international recognition for his remix of Dr. Dre's "The Next Episode", which currently has over 258 million views on YouTube. He has released music on several record labels including Spinnin' Records, Owsla, Barong Family, and Monstercat. Bitbird (stylised as bitbird) is an independent record label and creative company based in The Hague, Netherlands founded by San Holo, Sander van Dijck in 2014. The label is jointly run by Sander van Dijck's manager Budi Voogt and his longtime friend and associate Thorwald van den Akker, who is also the label's creative director and co-founder. While Bitbird is known primarily for releasing the electronic dance music subgenre future bass, they have also released a wide variety of genres including classical music, Rhythm and blues, R&B, Trap music (EDM), trap, and electronica.
