HCT Group was a social enterprise providing transport services and community services in several areas of the United Kingdom. It was founded in 1982 as Hackney Community Transport in the London Borough of Hackney, to provide transport services for local voluntary organisations, charities, and community groups. HCT Group was registered as a company limited by guarantee (and therefore had no shareholders). The company was also a registered charity. By 2014, HCT Group had a fleet of 500 vehicles, turnover of £43.7 million, and employed over 700. MyBus was a bus operator on the island of Jersey providing route and school bus services under contract to States of Jersey under the MyBus brand. It was a subsidiary of Veolia Transport, then later Veolia Transdev from 2011. History MyBus began operating the bus services on Jersey in September 2002 after being awarded a seven-year contract with a three-year option taking over the services from JMT, which had traded as Jersey Bus. The award of the contract was the subject of a long-running controversy: a commission of enquiry took place in 2005 to establish the circumstances of the award of the contract. The Optare Solo is a low-floor minibus/midibus with one or two doors manufactured by Optare in the United Kingdom since 1998. The Solo name is a play on its low-floor status, the manufacturer marketing its vehicle as having an entrance that is "so low" from the floor, namely with kneeling suspension. In January 2012 Optare announced the end of production for the original Solo design with a modified Solo SR taking over. The Alexander Dennis Enviro400 is a twin-axle low-floor bus, low-floor double-decker bus that was built by the United Kingdom, British bus manufacturer Alexander Dennis between 2005 and 2018. It replaced the Alexander ALX400, Dennis Trident 2, Dennis Trident (from which the Enviro400 was developed) and Plaxton President. St. Brelade ( French: ''Saint Brélade'') is one of the twelve parishes of Jersey in the Channel Islands. It is around west of St Helier. Its population was 10,568 as of 2011.
