Liberty is a town in Grant County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 552 at the 2000 census. The unincorporated community of Stitzer, Wisconsin is in the town. The town was named from the American ideal of liberty. Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 36.5 square miles (94.5 km2), all of it land. Demographics As of the census of 2000, there were 552 people, 189 households, and 147 families living in the town. The population density was 15.1 people per square mile (5.8/km2). Rube Rube is an unincorporated community at the intersection of English Lake Road and Range Line Road. The community is split between the towns of Liberty and Newton.
