Lianne Tan
Lianne Tan (born 20 November 1990) is a Belgian badminton player. She competed for Belgium at the 2012 London, 2016 Rio, and at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. She was selected to participate in the 2012 Summer Olympics, together with her brother Yuhan. In 2015, she won the silver medal in the European Games in Baku, Azerbaijan. Personal life Tan's father, Hank Tan, is Indonesian Chinese, while her mother, Maria Meyers, is Belgian (Flemish), and a native of Bilzen. Her parents met when her father came to Belgium to study dentistry. Bilzen
Bilzen () is a city and a municipality located in the Belgian province of Limburg. In 2021, Bilzen had a total population of 32,536. The total area is 75.90 km² which gives a population density of 426 inhabitants per km². Bilzen consists of the city of Bilzen and the following villages: , Eigenbilzen, , , , , , , , Rijkhoven, , and . It was in 1977 that they all became part of the municipality Bilzen because of the fusion of municipalities.
