Liam Walsh (footballer)
Liam Walsh (born 15 September 1997) is an English footballer who plays as a midfielder for EFL Championship club Luton Town. He started his career at Everton, and also spent time on loan at Yeovil Town, for whom he made his Football League debut, and at Birmingham City and Coventry City. Career Everton Born in Huyton, England, Walsh started his career at Everton when he joined them at five years old. In July 2014, Walsh signed a scholarships with the academy. Eight months later, he signed his first professional contract with the club. Walsh progressed through Everton's academy, regularly appearing for the Under-18 and Under-23 sides. Huyton
Huyton ( ) is a town in the Metropolitan Borough of Knowsley, Merseyside, England. Part of the Liverpool Urban Area, it borders the Liverpool suburbs of Dovecot, Knotty Ash and Belle Vale, and the neighbouring village of Roby, with which it formed Huyton with Roby Urban District between 1894 and 1974. 2017–18 EFL Cup
The 2017–18 EFL Cup was the 58th season of the EFL Cup. The competition was open to all 92 clubs participating in the Premier League and the English Football League. It was known as the Carabao Cup due to the start of a sponsorship deal with Carabao Energy Drinks after the tournament was unsponsored the previous year. The final took place at Wembley Stadium in London. Manchester City won their fifth title after a 3–0 win over Arsenal in the final. Lee David Johnson (born 7 June 1981) is an English professional football manager and former player, who is the manager of Hibernian. Prior to becoming a manager, he played for Brighton & Hove Albion, Yeovil Town, Heart of Midlothian, Bristol City, Derby County, Chesterfield and Kilmarnock. Stephen John Cotterill (born 20 July 1964) is an English former footballer who played as a striker. He is currently the manager of side Shrewsbury Town. Cotterill had a nine-year career as a footballer playing for Burton Albion, Wimbledon, Brighton & Hove Albion and AFC Bournemouth before deciding to take up football management. He began with Irish side Sligo Rovers and after a year he returned to England and took over at his home town club, Cheltenham Town. Henry James Redknapp (born 2 March 1947) is an English former football manager and player. Jack Louis Paul Compton (born 2 September 1988) is a Welsh footballer who plays as a winger for Cadoxton Barry. Career Compton began his career as a youth academy player with Portsmouth before signing for West Bromwich Albion at the age of 17.
