Liam Casey
Liam Casey (born 1995) is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays as a centre-forward for the Tipperary senior team. Born in Cahir, County Tipperary, Casey first played competitive Gaelic football during his schooling at Rockwell College. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of seventeen when he first linked up with the Tipperary minor team before later joining the under-21 side. He made his senior debut during the 2015 championship. Casey immediately became a regular member of the starting fifteen. At club level Casey plays with Cahir On 22 November 2020, Tipperary won the 2020 Munster Senior Football Championship after a 0-17 to 0-14 win against Cork in the final. It was Tipperary's first Munster title in 85 years. Cahir GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in the parish of Cahir, County Tipperary, Ireland. It's a dual club, with more success in football. History Cahir has fielded GAA teams since 1885. Football Cahir fields Gaelic Football teams at both Senior and Junior A level. Their greatest and only real success at senior level came in 2003 when they defeated Ardfinnan to claim the County Championship. 2020 Munster Senior Football Championship
The 2020 Munster Senior Football Championship was the 2020 installment of the annual Munster Senior Football Championship organised by the Munster GAA. The fixtures were announced on RTÉ Radio on 8 October 2019. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Gaelic games, all GAA activity was suspended until late in the year. On 22 November 2020, Tipperary won the title after a 0-17 to 0-14 win against Cork in the final. It was Tipperary's first Munster title in 85 years. To mark the centenary of Bloody Sunday, Tipperary wore special commemorative jerseys in white and green in the final, a replica of the colours worn by the Tipperary team which played Dublin in Croke Park in 1920. National Football League (Ireland)
The National Football League (NFL; ga, Sraith Náisiúnta Peile) is an annual Gaelic football competition between the senior county teams of Ireland plus London. Sponsored by Allianz, it is officially known as the Allianz National Football League. The Gaelic Athletic Association organises the league. The winning team receives the New Ireland Cup, presented by the New Ireland Assurance Company. The National Football League is the second most prestigious inter-county Gaelic Football competition after the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship. The Munster GAA Football Under-20 Championship, known simply as the Munster Under-20 Championship, is an annual inter-county Gaelic football competition organised by the Munster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the highest inter-county football competition for male players between the ages of 17 and 20 in the province of Munster. The championship was contested as the Munster Under-21 Championship between 1962 and 2016 before changing to an under-20 age category from 2018. It is sponsored by EirGrid. The final, currently held in March, serves as the culmination of a series of games played during a three-week period, and the results determine which team receives the Corn na Cásca. UCD GAA
UCD GAA or University College Dublin Gaelic Athletic Association club is a Dublin based Gaelic games club in University College Dublin. The UCD hurling club was founded in 1900 and boasted the mottos "Ad Astra" and "Cothrom Féinne". The first team was an amalgamation of students from UCD and Cecilia St. Although UCD had been playing Gaelic football unofficially since 1900, the official club history began in the season of 1911/1912. Rockwell College
Rockwell College ( ga, Coláiste Charraig an Tobair), founded in 1864, is a voluntary day and boarding Catholic secondary school near Cashel, County Tipperary in Ireland. The school has a rugby tradition and has won the Munster Schools Senior Cup 26 times and the Munster Schools Junior Cup 20 times. Rockwell is run by the Spiritans. Its list of former pupils and teachers includes two Presidents of Ireland.
