Li Chi (footballer)
Li Chi (; born 6 March 1983 in Wuhua) is a Chinese football player. Club career Shenzhen Kejian Li Chi would start his professional football career in the 2003 league season when he joined second tier football club Guangdong Xiongying and under the club's manager Wang Baoshan, he would immediately go on to be a vital member of the team which finished seventh. With the club facing financial difficulties the club moved to Shenzhen in hopes of getting better crowds and the club changed their name to Shenzhen Kejian to represent this. The move turned out to be disappointing on and off the field as the club finished the league tenth as well as becoming bankrupt in the process. Jiangsu Sainty Li transferred to second tier club Jiangsu Sainty in 2005 along with his previous coach Wang Baoshan and within his debut season see the club finish the league in fifth. The Chinese Football Association China League (), also known as China League One or Chinese Jia League (中甲联赛), is the second level of professional football in China. Above League One is the Chinese Super League. Prior to the formation of the Chinese Super League, Jia League was known as ''Jia B League''. The then top two levels of Chinese football league were known as ''Jia A League'' and ''Jia B League'' respectively. ''Jia A'' was rebranded as CSL and ''Jia B'' was rebranded as the current Jia League in 2004. Below the Jia League is the Yi League, following the Chinese Heavenly Stems naming convention of numbers. Pei Encai (; born 1 December 1953) is a Chinese football manager and a former player. Playing career Pei Encai would spend his youth within the Chinese military where he rose to be a Colonel. While in the army he would show to be promising midfielder and would work his way up to play for countries top army football team Bayi Football Team where he spent his whole career for them. At Bayi he would have a successful career where he won several league titles, however despite these trophies he never received an international call-up and unfortunately had to retire early due to injury. Management career Pei became a coach of the youth team in the Bayi Football Team in 1983 and won his first title in a national youth league in 1985. He led Huizhou PLA Saonon to the second division in 1998, and became the head coach of the Bayi Football Team in 2003.
