Lexi Zeiss
Lexi Kay Zeiss (born November 4, 2005) is an American artistic gymnast and a member of the United States national gymnastics team. She was part of the silver medal winning team at the 2022 Pan American Championships and was the alternate for the gold medal winning team at the 2022 World Championships. Early life Zeiss was born in Omaha, Nebraska in 2005 to Jess and Dana Zeiss. Gymnastics career 2021 Zeiss made her elite gymnastics debut at the 2021 Winter Cup where she placed eleventh in the all-around. She next competed at the American Classic where she placed sixteenth. Zeiss competed at the U.S. Classic where she finished sixteenth in the all-around. 2022 Zeiss competed at the 2022 Winter Cup where she finished fifteenth in the all-around. Joscelyn Michelle Roberson (born February 8, 2006) is an American artistic gymnast and member of the USA national gymnastics team. She was a member of the gold medal winning team at the 2023 World Championships. Early life Roberson was born to Jeffrey and Ashley Roberson in 2006 in Texarkana, Texas. Gymnastics career 2021 Roberson competed at the 2021 Winter Cup where she placed second behind Ella Kate Parker in the all-around, first on balance beam, and third on floor exercise in the junior division. Early life Matthews was born on September 20, 2006, in San Jose, California to physician parents Drs. Kari Bertrand (ob-gyn) and AJ Matthews (plastic surgery). Bertrand was a two-time Olympic Trials qualifier and an All-American runner for Georgetown University. Matthews began gymnastics when she was two years old. Career Matthews competed at the 2017 Hopes Classic and finished fifteenth with an all-around score of 44.500, meaning she was 0.500 away from qualifying for the Hopes Championships. The 2023 Winter Cup is an artistic gymnastics competition that was held at Freedom Hall in Louisville, Kentucky on February 24–26, 2023. Like in recent years, this competition included both men's and women's gymnastics. Background Louisville was selected as the host of the event in December 2022.
