Levindale is a neighborhood in northwest Baltimore which includes Sinai Hospital, the Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital, and a small number of detached homes and apartment buildings towards its south. Park Heights is an area of Baltimore City, Maryland, that lies approximately 10 miles northwest of downtown Baltimore and within two miles of the Baltimore County line. West Baltimore
West Baltimore station is a regional rail station located in the western part of the City of Baltimore, Maryland along the Northeast Corridor. It is served by MARC Penn Line trains. The station is positioned on an elevated grade above and between the nearby parallel West Mulberry and West Franklin Streets ( U.S. Route 40) at 400 North Smallwood Street. Three large surface lots are available for commuters. The Hebrew Orphan Asylum is a historic institutional orphanage and former hospital building located in the Mosher, Baltimore, Mosher neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It has also been known as West Baltimore General Hospital, Lutheran Hospital of Maryland and is currently being redeveloped by Coppin Heights Community Development Corporation to be a Center for Healthcare & Healthy Living. Built in 1875, the Hebrew Orphan Asylum in Baltimore, Maryland replaced the old Calverton Mansion (built in 1815) when a fire destroyed the mansion in 1874. The Hebrew Orphan Asylum, which started in 1872 in the Calverton Mansion depended on donations from people within the Baltimore Jewish community, including the wealthy German Jewish community that had settled within the city. Coldspring, also known as Cold Spring, is a neighborhood in the North District of Baltimore, located between Cylburn (west) and the Village of Cross Keys (east). Its boundaries are drawn by West Northern Parkway (north), Greenspring Avenue (west), Jones Falls Expressway (east) and West Cold Spring Lane (south). Pimlico, Baltimore
Pimlico, a neighborhood in Baltimore, Maryland, is the site of Pimlico Race Course, which holds the Preakness Stakes, one of the three legs of the Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing. From 1896 through 1915, Pimlico was also the home of Baltimore's Electric Park, a popular amusement park located near the intersection of Reisterstown Road and Belvedere Avenue. Cylburn is a neighborhood in the North District of Baltimore, located between the neighborhoods of Levindale (north) and Edgecomb (south). Its boundaries are marked by Cylburn Avenue (north), Dupont Avenue (south), Pimlico Road (west) and Greenspring Avenue (east).
