Miss May I is an American metalcore band from Troy, Ohio. Formed in 2007, they signed to Rise Records in 2008 and released their debut album, ''Apologies Are for the Weak'' through the label while the members were still attending high school. The album reached 76 on the ''Billboard'' 200, No. 29 on ''Billboard''s Top Heatseekers, and No. 66 on Top Independent Albums. The band has also had some of their material featured in big name productions; the song "Forgive and Forget" is featured on the ''Saw VI'' Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, and their song "Apologies Are for the Weak" is included in the video game '' Saints Row: The Third''. The band has retained the same lineup since its formation, with the only exception being bassist Ryan Neff, who left the band in 2007 and rejoined in 2009. ''At Heart'' is the third studio album by the American metalcore band Miss May I. The album was scheduled for release on May 29, 2012, but delayed to June 12, 2012. ''At Heart'' generally received positive reviews, noting the "mature" shift in sound with the band. The first single released from it was "Hey Mister" along with its accompanying music video. The album entered the Billboard 200 at number 32, selling over 12,000 copies in its first week. Texas In July
Texas in July was an American metalcore band from Ephrata, Pennsylvania, formed in 2007. They released an EP, ''Salt of the Earth'', and their debut full-length album, ''I Am'', through CI Records. After signing with Equal Vision Records, they released three more studio albums: '' One Reality'' on April 26, 2011; a self-titled album on October 9, 2012; and finally '' Bloodwork'' on September 16, 2014. The band broke up at the end of 2015. After the disbanding, JT Cavey went on to join Erra and Chris Davis went on to join The Ghost Inside. Of Mice & Men (often abbreviated OM&M) is an American Rock music, rock band formed in Costa Mesa, California, in 2009. The band's line-up currently consists of drummer Valentino Arteaga, guitarists Phil Manansala and Alan Ashby, and bassist and lead vocalist Aaron Pauley. The group was founded by former lead vocalist Austin Carlile and former bassist Jaxin Hall in mid-2009 after Carlile's departure from Attack Attack! (American band), Attack Attack!. Close to Home was an American post-hardcore band from Cincinnati, Ohio, United States, that was formed in 2005. They have released two EPs (three mixed, one demo) and three full-length albums, ''Picture Perfect''; their major label debut, ''Never Back Down'', which was released on February 15, 2011; and their most recent effort, ''Momentum'', which was released July 31, 2012 via Artery Recordings.
