Leslie Dewan
Leslie Dewan (born November 27, 1984) is an American nuclear engineer. She was the co-founder and chief executive officer of Transatomic Power. Dewan was a member of the board of MITMIT News Offic"MIT Corporation elects new members" Retrieved 20 March 2016 and was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. Education Dewan is a 2002 graduate of The Winsor School in Boston, Massachusetts. She received S.B. degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in mechanical engineering and nuclear engineering in 2007. She received her Ph.D. in nuclear engineering from MIT in 2013. While at MIT, Dewan was awarded a Department of Energy Computational Science Graduate Fellowship and an MIT Presidential Fellowship. Newton is a city in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, United States. It is approximately west of downtown Boston. Newton resembles a patchwork of thirteen villages, without a city center. According to the 2020 U.S. Census, the population of Newton was 88,923. History Newton was settled in 1630 as part of "the newe towne", which was renamed Cambridge in 1638.
