Les Vallées station ( French: ''Gare des Vallées'') is a French Railway station located on the Place de la Gare-des-Vallées in the commune of La Garenne-Colombes, Hauts-de-Seine department in the Île-de-France region. Due to the surrounding density of the stations neighbourhood, it also serves the nearby communes of Bois-Colombes and Colombes. Established at an elevation of 39 meters, the station is located at kilometric point (KP) 6.973 on the Paris-Saint-Lazare—Saint-Germain-en-Laye railway, between the stations of Bécon-les-Bruyères and La Garenne-Colombes. Opened in 1897 by the Chemins de fer de l'Ouest, the station is now owned and operated by the SNCF. Since 2004, Les Vallées has been served by Transilien Line L to and from Gare Saint-Lazare. La Garenne-Colombes
La Garenne-Colombes () is a commune in the northwestern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located from Notre Dame de Paris which is the center of Paris. It is one of the most densely populated municipalities in Europe. Name The city used to be part of the neighbouring city of Colombes. At this time, before 1910, it was called "La Garenne de Colombes," which means "Colombes' Garenne." "Garenne" is French for "warren." So the English for "La Garenne-Colombes" could be "Colombes' warren" or "Warren of Colombes"; yet to speakers of all languages the name of the city is officially "La Garenne-Colombes." The explanation for the city being called "warren" is that it used to be a warren where people would hunt. But this dates back to the French monarchy, in the 18th century and before. RATP Bus Network
The RATP bus network covers the entire territory of the city of Paris and the vast majority of its near suburbs. Operated by the Régie Autonome des Transports Parisiens (RATP), this constitutes a dense bus network complementary to other public transport networks, all organized and financed by Île-de-France Mobilités. Other suburban bus lines are managed by private operators grouped in a consortium known as Optile ('), an association of 80 private bus operators holding exclusive rights on their lines. The Gare Saint-Lazare (English: St Lazarus station), officially Paris-Saint-Lazare, is one of the six large mainline railway station termini in Paris, France. Transilien
Transilien () is the brand name given to the commuter rail network serving Île-de-France, the region surrounding and including the city of Paris. The network consists of eight lines: Transilien Line H, H, Transilien Line J, J, Transilien Line K, K, Transilien Line L, L, Transilien Line N, N, Transilien Line U, U, Transilien Line P, P and Transilien Line R, R, each operated by SNCF, the state-owned railway of France. Transilien Paris-Saint-Lazare is one of the sectors in the Paris Transilien suburban rail network. The trains on this sector depart from Gare Saint-Lazare in central Paris and serve the north and north-west of Île-de-France region with Transilien lines "J" and "L".
