Les Ardentes
Les Ardentes is a Belgian multi-day electro-rock music festival which yearly takes place in Liège, in early July. The last edition of the event took place in the district of Rocourt. Les Ardentes is organised ever since 2006, with Fabrice Lamproie and Gaëtan Servais as founders. The festival name is a French plural noun meaning "The Burning", a referral to the nickname of host city Liège, ''La cité ardente'' ("The Burning City"). Les Ardentes is one of the major festivals in the Meuse–Rhine Euroregion (formed by parts of Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands). Every year the happening attracts more people, with over 25,000 spectators at its start and a record of 76,000 visitors in 2014. Liège
Liège ( , , ; wa, Lîdje ; nl, Luik ; german: Lüttich ) is a major city and municipality of Wallonia and the capital of the Belgian province of Liège. Montevideo (band)
Montevideo () is the capital and largest city of Uruguay. According to the 2011 census, the city proper has a population of 1,319,108 (about one-third of the country's total population) in an area of . Infadels
Infadels were a London-based indie-electro band signed to the Wall of Sound record label. Infadels were founded in 2003 by Alex Bruford (drums), Matt Gooderson (guitar, programming) and Bnann Watts (vocals), who were joined shortly afterwards by Dead at Thirty founder Richie Vernon (live keys) and Wag Marshall-Page (Bass). Their debut album, ''We Are Not the Infadels'', was produced by Jagz Kooner and released in January 2006. A second album, the Martin "Youth" Glover produced '' Universe In Reverse'', was released in June 2008. Their third album, ''The Future of the Gravity Boy'', was released digitally on 19 March, and physically on 9 June 2012. Clinic

Ricardo Villalobos
Ricardo Villalobos (born 6 August 1970) is a Chilean-born German electronic music producer and DJ. He is well known for his work in the minimal techno and microhouse genres, and is one of the most significant figures in today's minimal techno scene. Life and work Villalobos was born in Chile on 6 August 1970. In 1973 he moved to Germany with his family to escape the dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet, who had seized power that year. When Villalobos was around 10 or 11 he started to play conga and bongos. He began making electronic music in the late 80s. From a very young age he has been a big fan of Depeche Mode, following their tours around Europe to listen to them. Villalobos began to play his music at parties while he was studying at university, but this was only for his own enjoyment. He started a label, Placid Flavour, in 1993 but this was unsuccessful. Robert Hood
Robert Hood (born 1965 in Detroit, Michigan) is an American electronic music producer and DJ. He is a founding member of the group Underground Resistance as a 'Minister of Information' with Mad Mike Banks and Jeff Mills. He is often considered to be one of the founders of minimal techno. In 1994, Hood founded the minimal techno label M-Plant in Detroit. Biography Underground Resistance Hood was a member of Underground Resistance, a techno collective started by Jeff Mills and former Parliament bass player 'Mad' Mike Banks. The group embraced militant, revolutionary rhetoric, and only appeared in public dressed in ski masks and black combat suits. Sascha Ring (born 27 June 1978), better known by the stage name Apparat, is a German electronic musician. He was previously co-owner of Shitkatapult records. Starting out with dancefloor-oriented techno, he shifted focus towards ambient music, becoming "more interested in designing sounds than beats". He collaborates with Modeselektor under the name Moderat. Career Ring collaborated with Ellen Allien in 2003 on the album '' Berlinette'' and again in 2006 on the album ''Orchestra of Bubbles.'' Cassius was a French musical duo consisting of producers Philippe Cerboneschi and Hubert Blanc-Francard, better known as Zdar and Boombass (or sometimes Philippe Zdar and Hubert Boombass). Under its different incarnations the duo is likened to the "French Touch" movement of electronic music in the second half of the 1990s. Vive La Fête
Vive la Fête ( en, Long live the party) are a Belgian music duo from Ghent, East Flanders, formed in 1997 by Danny Mommens (guitar, vocals) and Els Pynoo (vocals). History Vive la Fête was founded in 1997 when Mommens (then still playing in his former band dEUS) met Els at a party hosted by or for her sister. He had previously been an acquaintance of Pynoo's sister, who had photographed Els naked and had later showed the picture to Mommens. As Els stated in a 2005 interview; Mommens had approached her in a normal fashion and said randomly: "Hey I saw you naked!" Mommen's recorded a few demos with Pynoo on his 8-track recorder. Arid
A region is arid when it severely lacks available water, to the extent of hindering or preventing the growth and development of plant and animal life. Regions with arid climates tend to lack vegetation and are called xeric or desertic. Most arid climates straddle the Equator; these regions include parts of Africa, Asia, South America, North America, and Australia. Change over time The distribution of aridity at any time is largely the result of the general circulation of the atmosphere. The latter does change significantly over time through climate change.
