The Lerchenberg (603 m) is a mountain at the northeastern end of the parish of Wildberg (Schwarzwald) in the Black Forest in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It lies close to the boundary with the parish of Deckenpfronn. Black Forest
The Black Forest (german: Schwarzwald ) is a large forested mountain range in the state of Baden-Württemberg in southwest Germany, bounded by the Rhine Valley to the west and south and close to the borders with France and Switzerland. It is the source of the Danube and Neckar rivers. Its highest peak is the Feldberg with an elevation of above sea level. Roughly oblong in shape, with a length of and breadth of up to , it has an area of about 6,009 km2 (2,320 sq mi). The Transmission site Landespolizeidirektion Karlsruhe is a site with short wave aerial and an 81 metre tall telecommunication tower at {{coord, 48, 39, 51, N, 8, 47, 42, E} on the Lerchenberg near Wildberg, 20 kilometre westwards of Stuttgart. The whole area is undertunneled and equipped with an entrance which can be passed by vehicles with a height of 3.8 metres. The facility is used as centre for catastrophe management.
