Lepaca Kliffoth
''Lepaca Kliffoth'' is the fourth studio album by Swedish symphonic metal band Therion. The title refers to the Qliphoth. Stylistically, it retains the aggressive riffing and sheds the harsh growls of the band's previous death metal output, while also incorporating more elements of traditional heavy metal and more pronounced gothic and symphonic elements, often leading to this album being viewed as a transitional album in Therion's discography. Reception For Metal Storm, the album "stands between the band's more Death roots and later symphonic grandiosity" and "turns out to be a fine piece of work, the great songwriting, mixed with Arabic-influenced keyboards is remarkable, and those mysterious lyrics just add more charm". Therion (band)
Therion (formerly Blitzkrieg and Megatherion) is a Swedish symphonic metal band founded by Christofer Johnsson in 1987. Its name was inspired by the Celtic Frost album '' To Mega Therion''. "To Mega Therion" is Greek for "The Great Beast" and was a title used by occultist Aleister Crowley. Originally a death metal band, Therion adjusted its musical style by adding orchestral elements, including choirs, classical musicians, and even a full orchestra at their concert performances. As a result, they are considered pioneers of the symphonic metal genre. Martin Eric Ain (born Martin Erich Stricker; July 18, 1967 – October 21, 2017) was a musician best known as the bassist of the influential extreme metal bands Hellhammer and Celtic Frost. He used the stage name Martin Eric Ain throughout. Biography Ain was born in the United States and spoke English as a first language. Piotr Wawrzeniuk (born 1971 in Warsaw) is a Polish historian and musician. He is best known as a member of the symphonic metal band Therion, and as a member of Serpent, Carbonized, and The Robots. Music career Wawrzeniuk was a member of Swedish symphonic metal band Therion, of a doom metal side project of Therion and Entombed members—Serpent, Swedish death metal band Carbonized, and Swedish punk rock group The Robots. He was a singer and drummer for Therion between 1992 and 1996.
