Leonhard Pföderl
Leonhard Pföderl (born 1 September 1993) is a German professional ice hockey Forward (ice hockey), forward. He is currently playing for Eisbären Berlin in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL) and he competed in the 2018 Winter Olympics, capturing a silver medal. Playing career During the 2015-16 DEL season, 2015–16 season, his fourth with the Nürnberg Ice Tigers, Thomas Sabo Ice Tigers, Pföderl agreed to a three-year contract extension on 24 February 2016. After completing the 2018-19 DEL season, 2018–19 season, his seventh in the DEL with the Ice Tigers, Pföderl left as a free agent in securing a multi-year contract with fellow German club, Eisbären Berlin on April 3, 2019. Bad Tölz
Bad Tölz (; Bavarian: ''Däiz'') is a town in Bavaria, Germany and the administrative center of the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district. History Archaeology has shown continuous occupation of the site of Bad Tölz since the retreat of the glaciers at the end of the Ice Age. For example, there are finds from the Hallstatt culture as well as from Roman Raetia, or at least occupation by romanized Celts. The name " Tölz" (as "Tolnze") appears relatively late in documentation at the end of the 12th century. The name "Reginried" appears as that of a settlement belonging to the monastery at Tegernsee in earlier texts, which is probably the same as Reid in the western part of Mühlfeld. Hainricus de Tolnze built a castle on the site, which controlled the river and road traffic in the region but which no longer exists. In 1331, Louis IV made Tölz a market town. 2020–21 DEL Season
The 2020–21 Deutsche Eishockey Liga season was the 27th season since the founding of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the league announced 13 November 2020 as the start date, which was later postponed to a later date. On 19 November 2020, the DEL announced that the season would start on 17 December 2020. Eisbären Berlin won their eighth title, after defeating the Grizzlys Wolfsburg in three games. Format The season saw the same 14 teams as last year, as all teams were given a license. Adler Mannheim will be the defending champions from the 2018–19 DEL season as the 2019–20 season was ended after the regular season. At that point, EHC Red Bull München, who won three consecutive DEL titles until Mannheim’s 2019 triumph (a 4–1 series win against Munich), were the league leaders and had clinched the first seed for the DEL playoffs. The 2019–20 Deutsche Eishockey Liga season was the 26th season since the founding of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga running from 13 September 2019 to 10 March 2020. The season was ended prematurely due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Germany, and EHC Red Bull München, which had won the regular season, was selected by the DEL for the 2020–21 Champions Hockey League, as final regular season standings in lieu of playoffs were used to determine DEL nominations to the league. 2018–19 DEL Season
The 2018–19 Deutsche Eishockey Liga season was the 25th season since the founding of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga running from 14 September 2018 to 30 April 2019. All 14 clubs from the previous year and the Löwen Frankfurt applied for a license. The season saw the same teams as last year, as all teams were given their license. After a points-per-game record during the regular season with 2,23 points per game, the Adler Mannheim won the title for their seventh time defeating EHC Red Bull München 4–1 in the finals.
