Lenny Martinez (cyclist)
Lenny Martinez (born 11 July 2003) is a French professional racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . He is the son, grandson and nephew of former racing cyclists Miguel, Mariano and Yannick Martinez respectively. Career On 16 July 2022 during stage 4 of the Giro della Valle d'Aosta Martinez along with teammate Reuben Thompson were the last men standing from the group of favorites. Martinez, who had just extended his lead gave the win to Thompson. On 1 June 2022, Martinez got to ride for as a development rider with the team at the 2022 Mercan'Tour Classic where he finished in eighth position, beating UCI WorldTour professional cyclists all while helping leader David Gaudu finish in fourth. On 3 August 2022, confirmed they had signed Martinez into their UCI WorldTeam for 2023. 2023 Mont Ventoux Dénivelé Challenge
The 2023 Mont Ventoux Dénivelé Challenge, officially known as CIC – Mont Ventoux, was the fifth edition of the Mont Ventoux Dénivelé Challenge road cycling one-day race, which was a category 1.Pro event on the 2023 UCI ProSeries. Due to weather conditions, the race was shortened from 153 down to 98.3 kilometers and was shortened to only one ascent of Mont Ventoux, rather than the original plan of two ascents. Classique Des Alpes
Classique des Alpes was a classic taking place as a mountainous single-day cycling race. It took place in Chartreuse Mountains, beginning in Chambéry and finishing in Aix-les-Bains. It was held between 1991 and 2004, a day before the start of the Critérium du Dauphiné Libéré. Following the 2004 edition, Jean-Marie Leblanc, head of the organising body the Amaury Sport Organisation, announced the race would no longer take place as the cycling teams were not supportive of the race. 2021 European Road Championships
The 2021 European Road Cycling Championships was the 27th running of the European Road Cycling Championships, that took place from 8 to 12 September 2021 in Trentino, Italy. The event consisted of a total of 6 road races and 7 time trials. Location On 10 June 2019 it was announced that, Trentino would host the event from 9 to 13 September 2020, however due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the event was postponed to 2021, and in its place the 2020 events were instead hosted by Plouay in France. French National Road Race Championships
The French National Road Race Championship is a cycling race where the French cyclists decide who will become the champion for the year to come. The event was established in 1899, a professional championship was established in 1907 and the women's championship was established in 1951. Several additional categories were added later. The record for victories is by one of the best female cyclists, Jeannie Longo, who has so far won 20 road championships. The winners of each event are awarded with a symbolic cycling jersey which is blue, white and red, just like the national flag, these colours can be worn by the rider at other road racing events in the country to show their status as national champion. Sepp Kuss (born September 13, 1994) is an American professional cyclist who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career Kuss started out in mountain bike racing as a junior and as a student at the University of Colorado won two races at the Collegiate Mountain Bike Nationals in 2014, and another in 2015 becoming a two time mountain bike xc national champion. When asked what his cycling ambitions were, he said he wanted to take cycling as far as he could after finishing his degree. When asked one person he could sit and have lunch with he answered Peter Sagan. Kuss began the 2016 season racing for the amateur Gateway Harley Davidson / Trek team. The Astrophysical Observatory of Javalambre is a Spanish astronomical observatory located in the municipality of Arcos de las Salinas, Teruel.
