Lenni, Pennsylvania
Lenni is an unincorporated community in Middletown Township in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, United States. Lenni is located at the intersection of Lenni Road and Lungren Road northeast of the Chester Creek. History On January 2, 1797, Thomas Griffith sold a tract of land to John Lungren, a paper manufacturer from Upper Providence for the purposes of developing a mill which was built in 1798. After 1877, the mills were leased to Union Army General Robert Patterson. Exton station is a train station in Exton, West Whiteland Township, Pennsylvania, in the western suburbs of Philadelphia. It is served by most Amtrak ''Keystone Service'' trains and one daily eastbound '' Pennsylvanian'' trip, as well as SEPTA's Paoli/Thorndale Line. Robert Patterson
Robert Patterson (January 12, 1792 – August 7, 1881) was an Irish-born United States major general during the American Civil War, chiefly remembered for inflicting an early defeat on Stonewall Jackson, but crucially failing to stop Confederate General Joseph E. Johnston from joining forces with P. G. T. Beauregard at the First Battle of Bull Run. He is still blamed for this historic Union defeat. Early life and War of 1812 Patterson was born in Cappagh, County Tyrone, Ireland. His family was banished from Ireland due to his father's involvement in insurrectionism. In 1799, he emigrated to the United States, and eventually involved himself in banking. Upper Providence Township is a township in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, United States, located around and north of the borough of Media, and about west of center city Philadelphia. The population was 10,142 at the 2010 census. The township lies between Ridley Creek on the west and Crum Creek on the east.
