Leilani (born Leilani Sen, November or December 1978, Hatfield, Hertfordshire, England) is an English pop singer. Career She was signed to ZTT records from 1998 to 2000 and is best known for her 1999 single, "Madness Thing" (UK No. 19). She released two further singles "Do You Want Me" (UK No. 40) and "Flying Elvis" (UK No. 73). A fourth single, "This Is Your Life", and an album, ''Precious Treasure'', were planned but not released. As part of 40th Anniversary celebrations of ZTT records, ''Precious Treasure'' was released for the first time in 2023. She won six Group One races and a total of 12 black type equivalent races, during her short racing career. At the time of her retirement she held the Australasian earnings record for a mare. "Leilani" is the debut single by Australian rock group Hoodoo Gurus when they were called Le Hoodoo Gurus, released on Phantom Records in October 1982. It had been written by all four Gurus: James Baker, Dave Faulkner, Roddy Radalj and Kimble Rendall. Rendall left shortly before its release and, not long after, the band dropped the 'Le' to become Hoodoo Gurus. Le Hoodoo Gurus were noted for having three guitars and no bass player, creating a distinctive, layered sound. Leilani Reklai (born December 27, 1966) is a Palauan politician and businesswoman. She has served as the chairperson of the board of directors of the Palau National Communications Corporation. Leilani Reklai was tentatively elected the governor of the state of Aimeliik in the state elections of November 13, 2007. Early results showed Reklai leading her opponent and cousin, Abina Etpison, by just 35 votes. Reklai had 218 votes while Etpison, a Palauan legislator, had 183 votes. A total of 468 were cast in the Aimeliik election. 58 absentee ballots were still to be counted to determine the winner.
