Leigh Matty
Romeo's Daughter are a British AOR, contemporary and mainstream rock band. Their lineup features Leigh Matty, Craig Joiner and Andy Wells. The band released two albums in 1988 and 1993 respectively. They then reformed in 2009 and have toured extensively, as well as releasing new material: a live EP of past hits and an album of new material ''Rapture'' in 2012. and "Spin" in 2015. The current line-up is Leigh Matty, Craig Joiner, Stephen Drennan and Andy Wells. John Victor "Rhino" Edwards from Status Quo is a regular guest with the band live. History The original manager of the band was Olga Lange, then the wife of Robert John "Mutt" Lange. "Heaven in the Backseat" is a song by British rock band Romeo's Daughter that was featured on their self-titled debut album. It was made more popular when it was later featured on the soundtrack of the film '' A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child''. The song stayed on the UK Singles Chart below the top 75 for two weeks and peaked at No. 97 on the week of 12 May 1990, becoming the band's only domestic hit. The ''Billboard'' Hot 100 is the music industry standard record chart in the United States for songs, published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine. Chart rankings are based on sales (physical and digital), radio play, and online streaming in the United States. Derby Guildhall
Derby Guildhall is a municipal building in the Market Place, Derby, England. It is a Grade II listed building. History A moot hall was first established in the Market Place area in 1204. This was replaced by a timber and plaster guildhall in 1500 which, in turn, made way for a stone guildhall which was designed by Richard Jackson in the Classical style and completed in 1730. A turret clock designed by John Whitehurst was installed on the face of the building in the mid-18th century. The next structure, which was designed by Matthew Habershon also in the Classical style, was built slightly to the south of the previous structures and was completed in 1828. Fairport's Cropredy Convention
Fairport's Cropredy Convention (formerly Cropredy Festival) is an annual festival of folk and rock music, headed by British folk-rock band Fairport Convention and held on the edge of the village of Cropredy in Oxfordshire, England. The festival has taken place in August annually since 1976. Fairport's Cropredy Convention attracts up to 20,000 people each year. The festival features a single stage at the lower end of the sloping arena field. There are also ancillary events, such as Morris dancing in the streets and live music at the village's two pubs. FM are a British rock band (referred to as FM UK in North America to avoid confusion with the Canadian progressive rock band FM). They have released thirteen studio albums to date. ''Delectable'' is the second album by AOR band Romeo's Daughter. It was released on 30 September 1993 by Music for Nations. The band co-produced the album with Andy Reilly. "Attracted to the Animal" was released as the album's only single. Romeo's Daughter broke up shortly after ''Delectable'' was released. They reformed in 2009 after Rock Candy reissued ''Delectable'' and their debut album. Background Romeo's Daughter recorded their debut album with producers Mutt Lange and John Parr under Jive Records. ''Romeo's Daughter'' was not a commercial success, but received critical acclaim and some of the tracks went on to be covered by established artists. The band delayed working on their second album as they hoped to work with Lange again, but he was busy collaborating with Bryan Adams on his album ''Waking Up the Neighbours''. ''Right Here'' is the eighth studio album by the American rock musician Eddie Money. It was released in September 1991 by Columbia Records and yielded four singles, three of which would make the '' Billboard'' Hot 100 chart, including the song " I'll Get By" which made it to number 21. The video for "I'll Get By" is dedicated to the producer Bill Graham who had worked with Money on previous projects.
