Leicester Nirvana Football Club is a football club based in the Hamilton area of Leicester in Leicestershire. Formed in 2008 by a merger of Thurnby Rangers and Leicester Nirvana, they are currently members of the and play at Hamilton Park. History Thurnby Rangers Thurnby Rangers were established as a Sunday league team and played at Dakyn Road in Leicester. The 2018–19 Buildbase FA Vase is the 45th season of the FA Vase, an annual football competition for teams playing below Step 4 of the English National League System. The competition is to be played with two qualifying rounds preceding the six proper rounds, semi-finals (played over two legs) and final to be played at Wembley Stadium. All first-leg ties until the semi-finals are played with extra time if drawn after regulation – first-leg ties may also be resolved with penalties if both teams agree and notify the referee at least 45 minutes before kick-off. The Football Association Challenge Vase, usually referred to as the FA Vase, is an annual football competition for teams playing in Steps 5 and 6 of the English National League System (or equivalently, tier 9 or 10 of the overall English football league system). For the 2017–18 season 619 entrants were accepted, with two qualifying rounds preceding the six proper rounds, semi-finals (played over two legs) and final to be played at Wembley Stadium. The 2012–13 FA Cup qualifying rounds opened the 132nd season of competition in England for 'The Football Association Challenge Cup' (FA Cup), the world's oldest association football single knockout competition. A total of 758 clubs were accepted for the competition, down five from the previous season's 763. The large number of clubs entering the tournament from lower down ( Levels 5 through 10) in the English football pyramid meant that the competition started with six rounds of preliminary (2) and qualifying (4) knockouts for these non-League teams. The 32 winning clubs from fourth qualifying round progressed to the First round proper, where League clubs tiered at Levels 3 and 4 entered the competition. The Football Association Challenge Cup, more commonly known as the FA Cup, is an annual knockout football competition in men's domestic English football. First played during the 1871–72 season, it is the oldest national football competition in the world. It is organised by and named after The Football Association (The FA). Since 2015, it has been known as The Emirates FA Cup after its headline sponsor. A concurrent women's tournament is also held, the Women's FA Cup.
